Nash has interest in Utah?

Here's a pic from a while back when Baron Davis, Steven Nash, and I were hanging in LA. We went out riding bikes. Those silly ****s bought a tandem bike for a single day. Petty cash for them. Steve just texted me and says he's coming to Utah if the Jazz trade Jefferson to his least favorite team.

Ok, now its getting old.....

Also, make it #8 for triple doubles in the playoffs for Rajon Rondo. Damn, he's overrated. His teamates just give him 10 rebounds a night... in playoff contention.

Less energy to play defense, quick misses lead to easy fastbreak opportunities for the other team, team becomes less focused on defense.

Not saying we shouldn't speed it up a bit, just saying let's not completely adopt Phoenix style basketball just because we get a 38 year old Steve Nash.
Come clean. You argue just to argue, right?

I think it's getting hilarious in here.

I am also good friends with Steve Nash. Here is a picture of me and Steve-O(his friends call him Steve-O) with some chick we picked up at the hotel bar and tag-teamed. I didn't want to do it, on the count of her being a skank and all, but Steve-O promised to sign with Utah if I went along. That was right before he signed with the Suns, so I don't believe anything he says anymore. I also picked up crabs on that trip. Lyin' son of a bitch.

Welp, this is easily the best post of the thread......

Damn, Harp, you're getting tan quickly this offseason. Lots of Sallys on this board will be happy you cut your hair.

Just be glad Boler didn't crash the party with his angry lil' tater tot.

LOL.. that gets me every-single-time. Rep'd!!!

Cougar.

I've put a stop to buying jerseys of current players after retiring my Boozer, AK, and two D-Will jerseys... but if Nash signed here I'd make an exception to that rule. Probably my favorite non-Jazz NBA player ever.

And by the way, everyone around here needs to drop the fantasy that the Jazz are going to get James Harden.

I prefer my Utah Jazz stay Canadian free. He also supports the LA Galaxy, so **** him.

Nick Rimando is a Lakers fan but I still like having him in goal for RSL.

I believe it's him. Steve is also one of the coolest, most down to earth athletes I've ever met as well, so it sounds legit.

He makes 11mil now and he wants a 3 year deal which will pay him past the age of 41. He'll be older than Stockton was when he retired.

If he really thinks he should get 10+ mil then I wish him luck. Jazz should be able to offer 8 mil per; which to me is fair for a guy who will play only 29mpg.

Utah isn't likely to get him without overpaying, though. No matter who signs him, they will be doing so knowing they're taking a big risk on his 3rd year and even his 2nd. I think this is one of the few cases where Utah should take that risk without a doubt. KOC needs to get on his horse and make this happen.

I'm calling it right now. Utah uses their amnesty on Raja so they can offer Nash 10 million per. I also wouldn't rule out other moves to free up more cap space. If Utah really wants him, they'll have to overpay.

BTW, the Jazz have about $40 million in cap space in 2013 (that's two entire max slots and roughly $10 million left, still). Signing Nash for a little more than he might be worth might not only be harmless, it might be necessary since team's have to spend 90% of the cap. I'd rather overpay for Nash than potentially overpay for a worse fit, worse bet, or pay the union the difference.

If the Jazz sign Nash for an annual $10 million a year and stay the 2013 course otherwise, the Jazz could conceivably still sign two max free agents. And Nash himself is probably an attraction.

Agree.

That's not really you is it? Because your current location is not Tennessee as you state in your Jazzfanz bio? What reality show was your best friend recently on?

Yep, Derek. Small world if cilutch is really him, but I doubt it.

Clutch use to have his FB page linked in his signature. He looked nothing like that dude.

So, is this what happened here ... ?

Clutch says he's friends of Nash and then other posters jump on and claim the same? I think I read all that right, but not sure.
