You and everyone on earth knows that Phoenix's not winning a championship has nothing to do with their inability to score the basketball. It was size and stops.
And that's not saying anything about how good those teams were even without defense or depth of bigs.

You're senile. Rondo had been shopped for the best product on the market, and at this time I believe he is no longer being shopped. You think that he would really drop to being nothing in the league when he isn't around KG, Pierce or Ray Allen? Be my guest, but he is still a top 5 point guard.
7 Triple Doubles in the playoffs and isn't even in his complete prime. Yeah, he's overrated though.

Agreed. I've seen Celtic games where Rondo left the "Big 3" in the dust. I think he makes them better - not the other way around.
He'll put up big numbers wherever he goes.

Yeah but the style of play did nothing to help the defense. Any team that runs up and down the court taking quick shots is going to be bad at defense no matter who they have.

Why? Bear in mind these are teams that feature Amare Stoudemire as the biggest player and captain of the defense. And no rebounding.

Less energy to play defense, quick misses lead to easy fastbreak opportunities for the other team, team becomes less focused on defense.
Not saying we shouldn't speed it up a bit, just saying let's not completely adopt Phoenix style basketball just because we get a 38 year old Steve Nash.

I am also good friends with Steve Nash. Here is a picture of me and Steve-O(his friends call him Steve-O) with some chick we picked up at the hotel bar and tag-teamed. I didn't want to do it, on the count of her being a skank and all, but Steve-O promised to sign with Utah if I went along. That was right before he signed with the Suns, so I don't believe anything he says anymore. I also picked up crabs on that trip. Lyin' son of a bitch.

Here's a pic from a while back when Baron Davis, Steven Nash, and I were hanging in LA. We went out riding bikes. Those silly ****s bought a tandem bike for a single day. Petty cash for them. Steve just texted me and says he's coming to Utah if the Jazz trade Jefferson to his least favorite team.
