Can anyone come up with a half-assed way to get Ricky Rubio?
We'll need a third team to come in and add something (unless we want to give up kanter/favors/hayward on top of burks) so I added the bucks. Gave them Jefferson's expiring in return for monta's ****ty contract, so that they are willing to add Tobias Harris.

Chris Sheridan is reporting what the local Timberwolves reporter was talking about after Fredman's visit to the MIN/NOH game, that the Jazz were discussing Burks for Ridnour. I know Sherdian isn't incredibly reliable, but he's now the 2nd person to report this. It's unfathomable to think that an Earl Watson injury may have saved the front office from shooting themselves in the foot and infuriating the fan base. UNBELIEVABLE if true.
Also, Sherdian reports that the Jazz could still land Ridnour, but Burks is off the table now. He also reports that Will Bynum is the most likely player in the league to get dealt before the trade deadline. I can only hope that the Jazz aren't foolish enough to choose Ridnour over Bynum. Bynum does everything better than Ridnour except shoot the ball and we won't have to give up as much to acquire him.
Burks is off the table now.
If the jazz trade Burks for Ridnour or Bynum I will burn this website down.
How do they go after Dwight? Mid-level exception? If I'm Brooklyn, I try to pick up Millsap and go after Dwight this summer.
If I'm the Spurs or Pacers, I try to pick up Jefferson for this year's playoff run.
Jefferson to the Spurs?
"San Antonio is making overtures to the Utah Jazz for low-post specialist Al Jefferson, according to SheridanHoops.com.
The Spurs could offer a package of center Tiago Splitter, Patrick Mills, Stephen Jackson, and the draft rights to European big man Erazem Lorbeck, the report also states. Teams have until Feb. 21 to complete trades."

Looks like this is late, but here is the Tweet:

Re: Sheridan's Ridnour report - told Utah has given some sort of assurance to A. Burks that he's not going anywhere, at least not for Luke.
Is Burks now a sell high contestant? Maybe instead of Lidnour they can trade him for some real talent like Aaron Brooks. (Sarcasm warning)
