#53--OKC @UTJ 9:00 PM ET, February 12, 2013 ESA, SLC

If the Jazz play like that against OKC, then OKC has to play really, really well and really hard to win. As it is, the Thunder shot 56%. The Jazz are deep right now, and they're going to get Hayward and Mo Williams back.

23 points on 22 shots is pathetic. Your stat is horribly overrated. PPS is a much better judge of efficiency.
.
We want players who are efficient on offense while being decent or better defensively. Al is neither.

He looked efficient to me, and put loads of pressure on the defense, and created open shots for others. Like I said if he consistently got to the line he'd be a max player and would've never been on the jazz. There are few perfect players out there like a Durant, James or Kobe, all I know is he played better then I expected him to. Face it he played a good game. I want him gone like everyone else, but have no problem giving him props when I think he has played well unlike some.

Remember last year when we had CJ Miles, Raja Bell and Josh Howard? I barely do.

Remember when Caroll was kicking *** the final month of the season, and Ty decided to start Josh Howard at the start of the playoffs? Not that the Jazz would've beat the Spurs, but good hell what goes through our coaching staff mind? At some point someone should've said it was a bad idea.

I know everyone is thinking it, so I'll ask it. I'm seeing improvement from Burks, now that he's in the rotation, what's going to happen once Mo and Hayward get healthy? The only way I see Burks getting minutes is if Ty makes either him or Foye the full-time back up pg, and honestly I think the jazz are wasting Burks talents if they make him the full time backup pg, but someone like a Harden that can take the playmaking pressure off of whoever is at pg like he did for Watson tonight.

Everyone knows what the answer is: DNP-CD

Russell Westbrook's post game interview had a media member ask him "did you guys lose this one or did the Jazz win this one?" to which he replied...."What!?" he then gives this guy a look of incredulity and says "Bro, what are you talking about, man?....I dunno, I'm out, man." and proceeds to leave the interview.

Our boys sure made a statement tonight. Let's just hope they can build on this win.

What an awesome game, even watson played good.

The back to back 3's by tinsley were huge for the jazz in the first half..... westbrook wasn't guarding him at all before that point.
Millsap was awesome (i love the dunk attempt on ibaka even though he got stuffed.... great block by ibaka) jefferson was very good.
The bench as a unit was amazing, demarre carroll is becoming a fan favorite.... Right now i would take demarre over alot of other "hustle" guys in the league (tony allen types)
Burks is coming along nicely and has found his outside shot (lol when he tried to dunk on ibaka.... damn that would have been sick if he hadn't have gotten rejected)
Favors was solid, and kanter struggled a little but hustled his butt off and played good defense.

Im also worried about what happens to burks when the team gets healthy.

Westbrook is a punk and an idiot..... he has tons of talent but he just doesn't play smart enough.... I hate how even after he gets the foul call on his opponent he still yells at teh ref and gives them dirty looks.

The flagrant on durant probably should not have been a flagrant... i see tinsley commit a foul like that in almost every game to stop a fast break. It was just a good hard foul.

Loved the way carroll stuck up for burks after the foul though.

Well, then Westbrook today had an incredibly efficient game with 22 points on 14 shots...Never mind his 7 turnovers and 50% FT shooting, of course.

It's hard to say the Thunder played bad. Didn't they shoot well over 50%, the jazz took this game. The thunder could not sustain any runs in this game, because of either a clutch shot or a hustle play on defense. We deffinetly took this one from them. We were the aggressors and played with a ton of confidence. Also the jazz won every quarter.

Durant just said OKC arena is louder when it's empty. He's too young to remember when we were rocking the 97 98 finals. Nobody, and I mean Nobody rocked it like us back then.

It was a hard foul, but was called a flagrant because there was no play on the ball. He basically body checked him, kinda like a hockey move. It was the right call.

Now I REALLLLLYYY want to meet OKC in the playoffs. I will never forget these words, Durr-ant.
