Gordon Hayward is the Jazz's version of Manu Ginobili.

Both players are dynamite play makers/scorers that play better of the bench than they do as starters. However, both players receive starter's minutes. I think that Alec Burks is our future at the starting shooting guard position. Josh Howard plays better as a starter than off the bench. I still...

    Jimmer for CJ?

Burks is also only 20 years old. He has more time to develop. Alec just seems to get what is required to be a really good player in this league. I think that he was actually the #1 rated SG in last year's draft. Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express

Should We Have Given Up Boom Bitches?

Or we should have drafted Deandre Jordan (who starts for the Clippers). He was still on the board when we drafted Mr. Bitches. Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express

    Jimmer for CJ?

They didn't actually draft Fredette, they actually acquired him through a draft-trade with Milwaukee if memory serves me right. However, I feel that the Kings are much more interested in one of the of the other players that they drafted that night: Isaiah Thomas, who they got @ #60 overall. He...

Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

I agree. With the current makeup of our team, I like bringing Hayward of the bench as a scorer and playmaker. Burks has more potential than C.J. will ever have. Miles is the one who should go.

Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

I agree. That is why I actually like the the trade that sends C.J. to Sacramento for Jimmer. We didn't draft Alec Burks with a lottery pick to not give him minutes. Especially with his talent and potential. If we could get a potentially really good PG prospect in Fredette for Miles, I say do it.

    Jimmer for CJ?

Well, this trade actually might not be that bad of an idea. C.J. Miles is seemingly falling out of the rotation here and Fredette is struggling in Sacramento. Getting rid of C.J. would open up a whole lot more minutes for Alec Burks. It would also be a good situation for Fredette, as he would be...

What to do about Evans and Burks?

Here is my answer: if the two are going to be receiving little to no playing time, shouldn't we assign them to the D-League for the time being to get them more minutes and time to develop? It doesn't seem like it would hurt too much. We can call them back up whenever we want. Sent from my...

    Starting Line-up

How can you bench CJ? If he doesn't score 27 points against the Rockets, we don't beat them. Mr. Miles has contributed to several of our victories this season. Our problem is that we are too deep. We need to trade some our assets for better players (like Millsap and Harris for Rajon Rondo and...

Harris, Favors, Kanter will never do that.

Not to mention the fact that we don't know what the Golden State pick will turn into. What if we land an All-Star-caliber PG with it (a D-Will eventual replacement) ? Who got the better of the deal then? Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express

If we could play every game at home

I'll bet that pretty much every team in the NBA thinks that. Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express

    Harris Haters Apology Sign-Up Thread

I must admit, I was one of the Devin Harris haters lately. He has been playing much better lately. He was absolutely huge today. That shot was the definition of clutch. I must give a man props when deserved. Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express

    Danny Ainge wants young studs.

I would agree that I could see a Millsap, Harris, and GS Pick for Rondo, Jermaine O'Neal, and a future draft pick as being a realistic trade scenario. I don't think that the Celtics could get a much better deal than that. If I was th Jazz's GM, however, I would refuse any deal in which we have...

Frightened we will lose Pogo to Free Agency

If we trade Millsap (as I have suggested), we won't have to worry about losing Jeremy in free agency. Favors and Evans are our future at the PF position. Both players have unbelievable athleticism and a great deal of potential. Those who still favor Millsap need to realize that Paul should not...

Houston Rockets @ Utah Jazz, Wednesday 29/02/2012 7:00 PM

The thing is, it's not like the Jazz played badly in their last two road games (at Minnesota and at Sacramento), they just couldn't finish them at the end. We lost at Minnesota at the buzzer and we were right in the game against the Kings until the last couple of minutes. We have been playing...

    Rondo being shopped hard.

That's a good point. I forgot to mention the GS pick in my thread. I would probably see that as too much to give up for one really, really good player, but nobody ever really knows what you are going to get in a draft pick. I would make the Harris-Millsap-GS pick trade for Rondo-O'Neal and...

    Rondo being shopped hard.

IMO, we should trade Millsap and Harris for Rondo and Jermaine O'Neal. To me, this would be an equal trade. The Celtics would get TWO good players (Harris has been playing much better lately) for one really good player and one over-the-hill player in O'Neal who would be sent to make the...

    Al Jefferson is so clutch!

Ok haters, how about this one? Utah receives: Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, and Jermaine O'Neal Boston receives: Al Jefferson, Devin Harris, and Raja Bell Again, it works on both ESPN's NBA Trade Machine and on RealGM.com's Trade Checker. Some have said that I have been fixating on this move...

A trade that I want the Jazz right now...

All I know is that we have to do something about keeping the other team's PG from going off for career and season-best games against us. What are doing right now simply is not working.
