I have nothing against posters of Turkish descent, and you seem like an alright person but I swear you should re-read some of your posts before you go ahead and hit the enter button. Talking about the importance of Hamilton 7 years after he won a championship, and completely dismissing Big Al's talents and skill, due to his lack of playoff experience is just a really bad way of being seen as a respected poster. Saying that Lewis, who went to the finals with the help of Howard and Turkoglu, with people like Gortat, Reddick and Nelson being there for support, scored in the playoffs and is therefore better than any player who hasn't made the playoffs recently is just a really stupid way to argue against the talent of a player.

Think of it this way. Under the same contract, would Chicago rather have Boozer, or Jefferson??

Im thinking the latter. Though I do know what you mean. Booz is definitely better at running the pick and roll/pick and pop amongst other things.

On the jazz Booz is better on offense. Jazz system was tailor-made for Booz. We all saw what he did in Chi. Jefferson is far and away the better defender. Jefferson is better. Remember even with the Jazz Booz could be shut down by longer defenders and teams.
 
Wow, haven't been around here in a while and seems people are converting to Big ALism. Before, it seemed to me I was one of the few who supported him

Lifetime awards or not, i don't care, here i give you the ones i could remember quickly, not even counting how many are them.

Duncan, Garnett, Nowitzki, Griffin, Howard, B.Lopez, Lamarcus, Randolph, Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Bynum, Bosh, Brand, Al Horford, Bogut, Amare, Kevin Love

These are the once whom i think are better than Big Al for sure. Well if you wanna let go Duncan, it is ok, since he is too old, but the other ones are better imo.

Also you can argue who is better, with these guys, Bargnani, Nene, Noah,maybe a couple more that i don't remember or Monroe, Cousins(as potential)

So the truth is, Big Al is a good big man, but not among the elite class of players in this league. That's what i argue, i don't say he is bad, i just say he is not as good as people exaggarate here, if he wasn't under Jazz uniform, i wonder if anyone would classify him as a top 15 big man in the league

P.S. Yes Boozer sucks, so i didn't even mention his name, but he is getting paid a lot, so i guess Big Al isn't the only player who gets paid more than he deserves, i guess in the league, if you are a big man, and ure 20 10 guy, you get paid a lot even if you have many flaws in the game

I have no problem not posting here again, but i also consider it wrong to ignore people's posts.
 
News flash Sepanol, but every player you mentioned has one or more flaws Duncan is old, and has never been a good foul shooter, Garnett again old and on his last legs quite literally, he can't stay healthy, Nowitzki doesn't play defense, Griffins game on offense is one dimensional no outside game to speak of bad foul shooter, Howard same as Griffin, Lopez is slow un athletic, and quite possibly the worst rebounder ever, Lamarcus is soft relies too much on the jump shot, Randolph has a brain the size of a peanut, anyways I could go on but don't want to. There's only 6 or 7 guys you listed I'd take over big Al, so even you made all our points, that Big Al is paid the going rate for a 20 10 big.

Man we are talking about Duncan, arguably the best PF-C of last 10 years. Garnett, Nowitzki, would you even consider Big Al on the same line with these guys?
Randolph did hell of a job last year in playoffs. Of course everyone has flaws, but defense isn't the only flaw Big Al has, he seems like he has potential but he is never gonna reach his potential. If he had half basketball iq and mentality as Millsap, he would be a great player, but unfortunately it is not.

So no point for argument, we see things quite different. I counted you around 15-20 players better than Big Al but you don't agree,you claimed only 6-7 are better even neglecting the best big men in the league. So that's your opinion, i disagree but let's finish the argument, lets not make zerol more angry here
