All you need to know about Hayward is he is a top lane main.
Only Ron Mexico may get that reference

His streams were very awkward to listen to.

So you think we should go on a perpetual rebuild until we land multiple superstars, who decide to resign with Utah as FAs, hopefully before the sun expands and swallows the Earth?
The correct way of doing things for a market like Utah is to follow SAS lead (as we have been). Build patiently around the good players you have, and field a competitive team year after year, and you'll get lucky every now and then.
IMO we're in an advantageous position to avoid a perpetual rebuild. We have an uphill climb to reaching contender status regardless of the direction we choose, I just have significant doubts regarding the long-term potential of our current core (outside of Gobert + Mitchell-who I obviously have doubts about as well). I love Gobert, he could be our Duncan. But who is going to be his Parker, Manu, Kawhi, etc?
You have just answered the question yourself. Where were Parker (late 20's), Manu (second round), and Kawhi (# 15) drafted? Duncan was already in his late 20's when the Spurs drafted those guys and none of them were lottery picks. The Jazz need to keep doing what they are doing. A soft reset by going young and seeing what we have is fine but what your saying by trading Gobert is not what the Jazz should do. It's going to take some luck and time but I can see them doing exactly what the Spurs did and drafting well to find there guys no matter where there pick falls
