What could Utah get for Hayward, Gobert and this years 1st round pick?

What player not named Lebron, Curry or Durant is worth all that?
Sadly, a superstar isn't going to want to remain in Utah. So giving up all those assets to rent a player for a couple of years?
Jazz' ONLY hope is that Exum becomes a star. If not, Jazz will be like the Deron-led teams; compete for home court a few times, but never good enough to contend. Then it all gets blown up by Lindsey's successor in 10 years.

If that's the case, why don't the Jazz do that?
Say OKC will deal Westbrook and Adams...

Westbrook/Exum
Burks/2nd round pick in '16 draft
Hood/Ingles
Favors/Lyles
Adams/Withey

We're seeing what a great point guard can do without many pieces around him (Lillard). Westbrook is an upgrade from Lillard and the Jazz have a better core..

Im being creative and trying to figure out a way to get over the hump

That's the thing..you gotta get that superstar to sign(which is hard to do, I get that).

But I guess what I'm saying is, Exum isn't and will never be a star(imo) and so do the Jazz have to take a risk to become relevant and hopefully create a top 3 team in the west that is vying for a spot in the finals that might become enticing for that superstar to resign or to bring people in.

Westbrook alone would require all those assets and they probably STILL wouldn't do the deal.

Your probably right...

It's just hard for me to look at this team and say, man we could be playing for a championship in 5 years. So if it's any longer than that your once "young core" is now on the verge if not in their 30's

Exum is gonna be a star. Booker it.

Patience, we need to have patience. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. Yes, this season has been disappointing but we have seen a lot of growth from Hood, Lyles, and Neto, and we obtained a good backup point guard. Rudy has been a disappointment but I'm sure his injury has been a factor. Plus the injuries to both Favors and Burks, plus Exum, so we're lucky to be in the playoff hunt. We probably have learned more from losing those close games than we would've if we won them and got the 5th seed.

hmm.. Y'all think PHX would swap Len-Knight and the #2 pick for Hayward, Rudy and #15 ?? Pretty sure PHX would hang up the phone.

Not sure I would even do that one.
