hinking it over today --- I think the Jazz want to trade down and the real target is Mel. Fraz.
I think and hope that you're wrong. There are a ton of guys I'd rather have than Frazier.

Besides that he plays a position of little value in the modern NBA, he plays the same position as the team's franchise player who has 0 range.
Furthermore, his "highlights" are ****ing dreck.
I'm pumping the brakes here because the Jazz obviously have an elite front office but that whole thing was a whiiiiiffffff. Trading assets to move up to grab a guy that is destined for G-League greatness, *fart sound*.
I will bet you $50 he doesn't do anything of significance in a Jazz uniform. You have absolutely no idea what he'll end up being. He is barely 20 years old. You probably would have written off 20 year old Clint Capella as well his first year, who averaged 2 ppg with a 40% TS. Now he'll be staring at a max. Players can develop radically from the 19-24 range.

I was listening to Locke's recent podcast and he said that Melvin Frazier plays defense like Rudy in that he can do multiple actions or occupy multiple guys on one possession. That's elite level defense. I think the Jazz go with that.
Okogie much better shooter than Melton. Bigger, longer, stronger.
I personally would love the Jazz to draft an odd *** player every year. I like the idea of bringing in a Melvin Frazier because he hustles, an Olynyk because he can shoot, a Dejounte Murray because hes fast. I want our team to be the strangest, most potent concoction of weird talents compiled in the nba. I think it would be cool as ****.
ESPN is having a mock draft special tonight at 7:00 ET. I reckon it has started.
