Thanks for the confirmation. It's cool though.
He repped me for "****ting" on you as well. Some guys are into that sick stuff.

They can receive a starting salary at 30% rather than 25% of the cap if they meet at least one of the following criteria:Thanks for clearing that up. If I remember correctly they can get a larger raise after their rookie contracts are up.
They can receive a starting salary at 30% rather than 25% of the cap if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Been named the NBA Most Valuable Player.
- Been named to the All-NBA First, Second or Third team twice.
- Been voted-in as an All-Star starter twice.

Basically what I said.
No really. You said they were eligible for the raise early. They are not.
Yes, they are.
Instead of having to wait for their 7th-9th year (likely their 3rd contract) to get 30%, they can get directly after their rookie contract.
I just thought they could be extending in their 4th year and get that, so I was a year off.
So they aren't the same..
You said:Yes, why I said basically, as in the basic idea that the player can get a bigger raise earlier in his career for getting multiple awards.
Players can enter their max years after 4 years, just like before (contradicting your post above). The max is just higher for certain players with 4-6 years of experience.bumbling idiot said:That new provision that they started with Rose allows rookies to enter the max years earlier if they get two All-Stars or All-NBA teams, or something along those lines.

You said nothing of the sort.
It's hard to believe what a deluded moron you are sometimes.
Thriller let's try to keep up. I believe Hollinger is really high on the POTENTIAL of the group we have. He's not talking about Harris/Millsap/Jefferson, he's talking about the 4 young guys we have and the fact that it's possible we have 4/5 of our lineup set IF they all work out.
imagine, if we get marshall via trade in the draft... our starting five in 2-3 years could look like this (maybe an other veteran player taking one starting spot away):
pg marshall
sg burks
sf hayward
pf kanter
c favors
Not to mention we will have clear books for 2013 if we decided to stand pat, meaning we can bring in anyone (who is willing to sign here) to the team and construct the team the way the front office/coach see fit.
2013 will really be the official start of the new era of Jazz basketball. Right now we are in the last year of transition from Dwill.
We agree here if, on top of this, Al Jefferson is gone.
