JAZZ vs. Bobcats - Orlando Pro Summer League - 1pm et 7/5/10

Rice is carrying the Jazz...seems like the only player on the team that has scoring ability at this point. Would like to see Hayward be more aggressive.

My thoughts after 3 qtr:
-Alexis Ajinca most intriguing player on the court. Atleast 7-feet, athletic and has a nice touch. Make-or-break season for him, could be a breakout player with a change of scenery.
-Gaines: alot of nice plays, alot of TO's but it's hard for PG's to look good in summer league with so many new players trying to learn the system and such poor floor spacing. Looks bigger and stronger since season's end.
-Koufos: no noticeable improvement.
-Jeffers: like his quick first step, although it seems his only offensive move is to duck his head and drive.
-Augustine: put on alot of weight the past 2 summers, really works hard and makes all the right plays. Like to see him get an invite to camp
-Davidson: This is the guy I wrote last week could make our roster. Long and active and can block some shots, made a nice face-up jumper on the baseline too. At this point, I'd love for Jazz to invite him and Augustine to camp and let them fight for last roster spot. Ideally Augustine's hard work would push Davidson to realize the potential he still has.

-Officiating in 1st half was atrocious. Alot of bizarre calls both ways, particularly moving screens on the Jazz that were called when no one was even setting a screen. My favorite was after Augustine's AND1 in the 1st half, where the refs cleared the lane for his FT, then tried to give the ball back to Utah before giving it to Charlotte.

-I'd like to see more Gaines and Davidson in the 4th.
-I'd bet my car Bernard Robinson will never play for an NBA team again.
-Is Tadija Dragicevic with the team?

Gaines is a damn ball hog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man Gains is still a ball hog. He has taken some horrible shots. Now I understand why Gordon has only one shot. They never pass the ball.

Shawn Williams is playing great
