As I understand it, there are multiple draft choices involved, which have not been revealed. All that's been reported is the primary guys changing hands.
IMO, Hayward has greatly impressed the Jazz and they expect he and CJ to eat up the SF minutes. Hayward is said to lack the same lateral quickness CJ lacks for playing SG. That leaves a hole at b/u SG; Jeffers isn't a great option. Quinton Ross is a known comodity as a defender; been a starter too. He's a good fit for us behind Bell at SG. He is a bit light to be at SF, but can do that too.
At PF, Diaw isn't much of a defender, but has a pretty good offensive game. He can run with or w/o the ball, shoot with range, and is an excellent passer. He and Hayward on the b/u unit could be potent offensively. Add to that Earl Watson penetrating and passing, our b/u unit would put up some points. For defense, Watson and Ross are both good defenders. Either Elson or Fes at C would be guarding the paint. I know Elson can also pass the ball, and I think Fes isn't too shabby either.
