Milos Teodosic interested in the Jazz

"would rather" doesn't mean much. Euro ball is better, and they'd decimate every college team.

Yeah, but I watch NCAA to see future pros, not for the level of play. You can do that too with Euro ball to an extent, even though most young NBA prospects really get stiffed on playing time overseas.

Why, because coaches try to discourage the NBA from drafting them?

Good European teams would annihilate college teams. Physically they're men and they are tough ruthless competitors, disciplined and skilled. I find the NCAA hard to watch, in comparison they're high on enthusiasm and most often lower on skill and savvy. Except for those teams with top 5-10 NBA type prospects college games are tedious. I wish they'd shorten the shot clock.

That is true. Good young prospects usually dont see much playing time particularly in the Euroleague games. I think that is why you are starting to see teams like Mega Leks come along who pretty much guarantee these young prospects playing time. NBA scouts might as well rent an apartment in Belgrade to watch Mega Leks.

Twice as many tv timeouts as well in college. The definite con is that they are taught to foul if there is any chance for a fast break for the other team.

No because you actually have to win games in order not to get demoted to the 2nd division. And a 28 year old less talented pro in his prime is going to impact the game in a more positive way most of the time compared to a more talented 18 year old who's learning the game.

Not sure it has more viewers.

Last year there were like 4 or 5 good games and again I get to see the best of those players play a full NBA season on much better teams. The NCAA offers something different and the NCAA Tournament is more interesting from a parity/competition standpoint than either Euroleague or the NBA.

The intensity of the NCAA tourney is something that you will find in 90% of European games simply because of the fact that there's 1-2 games a week which allows more precision, preparation and attention to detail coupled with pros trying to improve their salary from 5 digits to 6 digits to 7 digits.

Crazy. France and Serbia played a friendly today in preparation for the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. Played in front of 12,000 fans (large for Europe). Teodosic got ejected with 2 Ts. De Colo, Ajinca, and Jokic got into a brawl and Jokic and Ajinca were ejected. Looked like it could have gotten a lot worse. They however are not in the same region for the OQT. Dont say these guys dont care playing for their country.

Watching this dude in Olympics. Super skilled but an atrocious defender.

If he was a free agent this year, I'd sign him without blinking.

HUGE competitor, biggest balls in Europe probably.

His defensive woes aren't the biggest of problems if he's gonna be playing backup guard. If he's good for 20-25mpg, more of his energy can be spent on the defensive end. He's a God in Europe, but I'm sure Quin could get him to put more effort on D.

That could actually be a problem

His D would be a huge problem. He made Delly look like Kyrie Irving.
