Summers is just another right-wing flunky full of bad ideas and mischaracterizations, and only those who are looking for someone to agree with them consider her to be factual. For example, her claim that street harassment occurs more frequently in economically deprived neighborhoods is factually false.

2. Even if it is, her point was that legislating catcalls could have terrible unintended consequences for marginalized groups. That seems to be a reasonable concern, given how drug laws are enforced in America (for example).

Well... in the video she posted a site that showed that the catcall video had over half of the "harassment" occurrences in Harlem. Were are your facts?

Already been done. A male model did a video in response to this Hollaback one. He got cat called by women about 30 times in 10 minutes or something like that.
His was in New York as well.

Are you opposed to make it illegal to attempt to intimidate women, or did you trust that Sommers had fairly presented the contents of the editorial?
