Agree with you there, OB. I'm against public displays like Tebow makes, or crosses like boxers do before attempting to pummel in the head of an opponent (or after doing so). Also against the over the top "glory to God" or "give praise to Allah" in interviews. You can make your beliefs known without going overboard, whatever they may be.

You've never had your religion telling you that you'd go to hell for being straight. You've never heard your relatives insult you, or others, for wanting to sleep with women. You've never faced job loss over being straight (13 years ago, a gay Collins would have gone undrafted and unsigned). You've never lived in a culture where the only acceptable option was to sleep with other men. You have no idea what it would be like, or how you would react in such a situation.

And BTW, I had no problem working with several homosexual males and females at my last job. I may not agree with their lifestyle/sexual orientation, but it wasn't like we hung out at gay bars or clubs together after work hours. IMO, it's no big deal in a professional setting. Now, I do have one caveat...in a locker room setting, I think it would be advisable to put in individual shower stalls with dressing areas in front with a curtain, just like they have in some health clubs. And I'm not talking about just when a team has an openly gay player. This should have been done when females were first allowed in the locker rooms. No, I take that back...when reporters (male or female) were first allowed into the dressing areas instead of having to wait in the press room.

Its because when they were growing up, they were told being gay is wrong. They don't want to be gay, so they spend years fighting their urges-- eventually it drives them so insane that they literally kill themselves.
The evidence is OUTSTANDING. Thousands and thousands of LGBT people saying "I was born this way" is proof enough. You can't just say "I don't believe they were born that way" and that's that. You have to actually ****ing listen to people and look at how they react to those statements. If being gay was a choice, people would just choose to be straight instead of killing themselves.

It's possible to be predominantly gay with a small attraction to women. Sexuality is NOT black and white.
If you stimulate someone physically, the body responds automatically. This happens to rape victims as well as people going against their orientation.

Ive never heard of women getting aroused while they are getting rape.

They don't get aroused (arousal is at least partially a mental state). However, that does mean their bodies are unresponsive to physical stimuli. Some even ******.
