Stanford got out the Christmas wrapping paper early, put bows in their hair, and gave Utah a gift on those last two plays. How does throwing to the Endzone twice on 3 and 2 and 4th and 2 from the 6 with plenty of time left in the game make any sense? Just man up and play smashmouth football like you're supposed to. Bunch of string pullers.
Good win though.
Why can't you just eat your crow and say this was an excellent win? Stating the bolded makes you look like a jerk. Was the play calling to end the game questionable under the circumstances? Sure. There is no guarantee that they would have gotten the first down if they ran the ball. It was IMO more likely, but they didn't do that and the final score had Utah winning 27-21. If you wouldn't have made ridiculous claims and then went on to call the final outcome a gift, then maybe you wouldn't be getting hammered on here like you are.
