Walker Kessler Should No Longer Play Until KO is Traded

He single handedly brought us back in the Atlanta game and we likely win the Philadelphia game if Hardy puts him in over KO.

Please keep digging yourself deeper.
He also never said Walker should be in the g league… and I need to do better.

Nothing I've said has been wrong. The Jazz play significantly better offensively when Kessler isnt on the floor. Our elite upside lies in Lauri developing his ability to play minutes at the 5.

And what is our guard core shooting percentage over that stretch?

Correlation does not prove causation.
No you dumbass… everyone knows the source of all good things Jazz comes from THT and THT alone… the source of all evil is Sexton/Kessler and whoever else Cy ain’t feeling at the moment.

Ehh, I don't think Walker sucks the way I think Sexton sucks. That's not fair to Walker to put him with Sexton

The Hawks scored on 15/16 possessions in the third until Kessler came in and they didn’t score on like the next 4/5 possessions after that.

It’s also extremely weird that the person who had the biggest hard on for Gobert doesn’t like Kessler. It legit makes no ****ing sense.

Kessler is also 2nd in BPM for the team, behind Lauri. Lauri and Kessler seem to lead in most advanced stats, or be at least in the top 3 or 4 on the team. Everything points to Kessler being a net positive on the court. Where, looking here at PER, everyone from Olynyk on down at barely at, or in fact below, league average. The only ones over 20 are Markkanen and Kessler. Bottom line, Kessler needs more minutes and Markkanen needs to be more of a focus on the team in general.

Kessler has a better defensive rating and BPM than Gobert this season. ****ing crazy.

Two things I think play into that. Gobert is in a desperate situation, so he is trying to do too much, which shifts his focus and he can't be as efficient as he could be, plus them just sucking means he is pulled down in the suckitude like being stuck in a bog. Also, Kessler doesn't try to do too much, he plays to his strengths and is a pretty smart player, so he takes what comes to him and makes the most of it. Bodes well for his future, imo.

Also, on a Per 36 basis Kessler is just killing it. Here is his rebounding highlighted. Leading the team by a decent margin with Vando. His scoring is about 13 per 36, more than Vando. His other stats all hold up, with his blocks off the chart at nearly 4 per 36, and highest FG% on the team, granted with fewer attempts. At per 36 he would fully be a starting center, by these stats at least. I, for one, feel he needs more minutes, first to help him develop and second to see what he can do with it.

I'll preface this by saying I really like Kessler, and have been super impressed. I think he should continue to get as many opportunities as he can handle.

Just to balance out the board a little it has to be noted that Kessler is really rough in a half court offense. Hardy doesn't even know what to do with him most of the time. He isn't a good screener/roll guy/or pick and pop guy, is useless off ball, and can't (or hasn't been allowed to) post up. The only way it is working is when the defense completely forgets he is on the court and a teammate is able find him unguarded right next to the hoop. He's also generally playing all of his minutes against bench units.

I don’t know those two back door alley ups last night were ****ing sick and we weren’t doing much after that.

They were great, but I'm not sure the plan should be for him to be so irrelevant to a half court offense that he nobody guards him.
