Ingles is awful; Major black eye for DL

I dont' know if I said anything but I certainly thought that Ingles was a 20mpg guy and we vastly overpaid.
Yeah, I thought at best he was a great glue guy would could get maybe 10 a game and could hit some timely shots. Didn't for a second think he would have multiple 20 point games in a season, let alone be the court general he's been. Kudos for him, especially for massively improving his game after signing a big contract.

This thread, as well as multiple others clearly explain why DL is in charge and not us armchair GM's. We like to think we know whats best for the team, while people actually in the position do know.

Basically the only two people who should have any input on the Jazz are Dennis Lindsey and me. The rest of you need to sit down and know your place. Trust us.

The only gripe I have about Ingles and perhaps someone might know how to get the answer, but what percentage of bounce passes from Ingles to Gobert leads to a turnover.. to me it feels like 70 or 80%?

Edit: Actually I just remembered another gripe where he steps out of bounds when he begins to dribble the ball.

That actually should be a gripe against Rudy. He needs to be able to handle those passes. He needs to work on the coordination of his hands with his movement.

From the Spurs quotes thread, "This summer the Spurs gave Patty 4/50. This summer the Jazz gave Ingles 4/52. Totally ****ed up on getting the wrong Aussie."

I am glad we have DL making decisions and that we have Slo Mo Joe

A Blast from the past: Jingles was about to whooop James Harden's ###

Before this season began, I was worried that we overpaid to retain Ingles. I was wrong. His game has improved immensely and he is dominating at being the ball handler during pick and roll situations the past few games. I absolutely love his game right now.

I'm not giving him that; dude doesn't care about the money. I'll give him much more respect for saying his contract was way more than he'd ever need and would give a ton of it away.

Dude is the epitome of a class act.

My contention with Jingles' contract is about it going forward. I don't mind it short term, I mind it long-term. I might turn out to be wrong of course since Jingles hasn't regressed this season(which is something I expected).

At least it is front loaded. He earns a million less ever season.

Giving him what? I was giving him credit for not resting on his laurels after a big contract, when many other players do.
