More Mitchell Love

I think Simmons is much better but that doesnt mean their numbers dont match up. I also think if Simmons cant learn to shoot outside the paint teams will adjust more and more and make him less and less effective. Unless he switches to PF.

I mean I always say he is really good so I guess you think he sucks? The only bad things I have said about him are he cant shoot. Which he cant. But you are pretty unreasonable about your home town heroes.

The rest of the stuff is in comparison to Mitchell which offends you for some reason.

You just spent however long I was asleep for defending your Simmons is MCWs take.

People around here seem to view rookies as a finished product. To beleive Simmons will never develop a shot shows how little you know, its played out thousands of times before.

I posted that around 2:30 and stopped before the game started. I guess you sleep for like 2-3 hours. Also I simply get notifications for responses and respond.

I dont think he will never develop a shot. I have said he is in trouble if he does not. I have also said he will be really really good if he does. His FT shooting is not a good sign though. Its generally a sign a player does not work hard on his craft when he cant shoot a FT but he might be the rare exception.

Name 1 rookie that shot below 60% from FT that turned into a good or decent shooter.

The thing is Simmons form is so bad he doesn't have a base to develop something, he's going to relearn from the scratch, and that is not a easy thing to do. Remember our boy Brewer?

I am simply responding, I am not the one who brought Simmons into this thread.

Also I looked it up for you. The only two players in NBA history to have as bad of FT shooting as Simmons who played decent amount of minutes that turned into good or okay shooter. Malone and Webber.

I left it alone as soon as you pointed out this was a DM love thread (which was a fair point). I wake up 3 hrs later to another 4-5 pages of the same argument.

Donovan Mitchell (17/18) - with one more 3 pointer tonight brings his total to 175

Needs 11 more to take over 1st.

5 games left to go. He needs to average 2.2 per game to do that. He’s been averaging 2.6 per game (on 7.3 attempts) since the win streak began back in January. Looking more and more likely that he’ll get there, but it won’t be until the last game in Portland that he tops Lillard. Which would be fitting since he passed Curry in Oakland.
