Snyder to step down - Woj

I blame Don for a lot. I hold everybody accountable for our issues.

The #1 issue we had last year was coaching a leadership. We will now have a new coach.

This isn’t true at all… I literally said if Donovan had a good series we win and you jumped up my *** for “blaming Donovan”.

Does anyone know if the report said that Quin is getting paid or not for his final contract year?

If he is, I would double down on Bryant or another 1st year coach being hired. Smith will want to pay as little as possible.

Quin had to go. Not playing Jared Butler significant minutes this year or hell any minutes at all just can’t happen. Playing Royce at end of games and not changing until it was too late. Not holding players accountable for defensive lapses can’t happen. It was just time for him to go.

Again, if you think Rudy is getting traded, then Quin just totally opted out of a Donovan led team.

He doesnt believe in Mitchell lmao.

They likely won’t specify. I think it likely means he gets paid for next year. Morey did this but had it in his contract that he could. I think if we had fired him we might have had to pay the coach’s option year. He likely can’t take a job for a year.

I don’t believe in Quin so who cares.
I mean, you are allowed to think Quin isnt a great coach, but he is at least a very good coach and he knows the ins/outs and what is happening in the franchise and the trade talks better than we do. He has seen the possibilities of what is possible and fully opted out.

It doesnt strike it odd to you that a coach would opt out of coaching a guy like Donovan a year early if he thought there was any hope there? And to fully state what I feel, Quin clearly doesnt believe in Don and/or the Front Office.

Quin in a great coach but he lacks nuance around the edges that keeps him from being a top-5 coach in the league.

We are trading Gobert and he likely doesn’t want to start all over defensively.

I’m saying **** him if he doesn’t believe in Donovan because I don’t believe in him.
