Don gone, too?

From the article:

Mitchell considered Snyder a significant part of his reasoning for committing to a five-year maximum contract extension in 2020, and Snyder's decision to step away on Sunday has left Mitchell "surprised and disappointed," sources told ESPN.

This is groundwork for a trade demand. “Hey the guy we liked and signed an extension cuz he was here… well now he’s gone so…”

Yeah, but I think the $163,000,000 was probably also a considerable factor.

My man you called Donovan a fringe all-star lmao. GTFOH!!!
I would say the last man each time with a compelling argument that another could/should have been chose qualifies as "fringe". You going with he is a sure bet sure bet and starter AS?

His all-star selections are based off team success (which Gobert contributes most to). Like if you swapped DeAaron Fox and Mitchell straight up, Fox would be making ASG while Mitchell didnt.

That is not true. We wouldn’t be as good with Fox and Fox would not be averaging 25 PPG.

It should have surprised no one that Quin stepped down. This has been well reported on for sometime. The Woj-Don-CAA connection is hilarious. All this does is give Don ammo to choose the next coach and/or a reason to demand out when he does. It was obvious that Quin/players were checked out this year. They were all just waiting for their respective exits.

My position on Don was that he was always going to demand out, but it didn’t bother me because I can’t blame someone for not wanting to play in UTA. He gave a lot to this franchise, and it could have been an amicable exit that benefited both sides. But this media circus game he’s playing is embarrassing. If anyone claims that this is some kind of shock, they are complete grifters. Don is a grifter and Woj is his mouthpiece.

The only thing more embarrassing is that our FO is indirectly being run by the FO of another team through CAA lmao. The Ryan Smith ownership is approaching Kings level of laughable.

I'd agree with you were it not for the fact that Danny Ainge is experienced, maverick and cocky enough to do whatever he wants. It would not surprise me in the least if Ainge isn't 100% sold on Donovan as a franchise player.

The reasons Mitchell hasn't asked out are because a) he has no leverage this far from free agency, and b) he and CAA need to orchestrate the right situation for him, else he could end up on a .500 team in Sacramento or Detroit for the next 3 years.

On the topic of laughing, this take is laughable.

Really!

LeBron
Durant
Giannis
Embiid
Jokic
Doncic
Trae
Morant
Tatum
Kyrie
Curry
Kawhi
Booker

A few of these guys are debatable but please tell me someone not on this list that is better than Donovan.

A fringe AS is owed having a team built around him? That's your logic? Same logic model that you used for "Donovan doesn't really use screens to score"?
Fringe all star was Conley who only got in due to injuries.

Everybody uses screens. Not everybody needs a Rudy screen.

I’m ready for this nightmare to end.

So in response to the OP: please, god, yes. Please.
