2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

If we can't get a decent point guard, we should pick up Joe Ingles on the cheap. He can pass and he shoots well enough to keep people honest. Not sure how that would work into the plans, but it's an idea. Joe Ingles alley ooping to John Collins would be sweet.

I was trying to figure out when he said this. Did he say it after John Collins trade was confirmed or just before it? I wonder if it was the John Collins trade.
I listen to his podcast yesterday, which was done before the Collins trade and he mentioned something like this. I thought he was talking about Colin’s, but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure how you could have watched those early season games and come to a different conclusion, but ok I guess.
it's not hard. i watched the early games and it was clear hardy wasn't playing him. i mean, it's not really up for debate. he averaged 3 minutes a game in november and 6 minutes a game in december. then 18+ in january. so fish is right, it took hardy about half the season before ochai started seeing consistent, regular, minutes.

The John Collins trade was not outlandish or speculation
That's been talked about for quite a while

Among the things Tony Jones mentioned on radio interview today:
  • His own (personal) preference for Jazz at PG is Austin Reaves; would offer max. But thinks Lakers are going to match anything offered.
  • Strongly thinks Jazz top priority is more playmaking at this point
  • Again emphasized positional length for all positions (though threw out a few name for PG possibilities without much length)
  • Said Jazz had removed Cam Whitmore from draft board (I'm personally interpreting this as the Jazz felt Whitmore, GG would be better as "second draft" options than being the team to draft them initially)
  • Confirmed that Jarace Walker was higher on Jazz's board than Hendricks; that George was higher than Jordan Hawkins

Worst part about Jazzfanz is the constant rehashing of bad takes.

It's regarding the Cavs. It says it in the tweet.

There's only one drama queen on the Cavs for whatever it's worth.
