And he’s cocky but actually has game to back it up.I’d rather have a cocky player who believes in himself than someone who lacks confidence
Trey Burke was cocky too, but that cockiness remained after he had a few 2 of 20 games in summer league.

We calling Keyonte "Saint George"?
Leif Touline was the first who coined that comparison about 2 months before the draft.Sounds like Jamal Murray clone
It's been his comp since before the college season startedLeif Touline was the first who coined that comparison about 2 months before the draft.
In hindsight he was right.
Keep that in mind for the Keynote George nickname thread. We calling Keyonte "Saint George"?
By Leif? Or others too? It's been his comp since before the college season started

Oh true.. I’ve just heard it from Leif. Great dude btw.By everyone
He might be. Kind of depends on what the goals are for this year. So far, he’s looked the part - maybe they give him the opportunity and see what he does with it.He's our starting PG
It would be criminal if he doesn’t start. He might be. Kind of depends on what the goals are for this year. So far, he’s looked the part - maybe they give him the opportunity and see what he does with it.
I don't disagree, but I suspect Dunn will probably get the starting nod with George getting meaningful minutes (I'm rioting if George does not play some time at the start of the season, barring injury). George will probably take over at some point during the season unless Dunn just knocks it out of the park.It would be criminal if he doesn’t start.
No, why would we?We calling Keyonte "Saint George"?
Or maybe it's because the coach thinks he's better off the bench. No need to drag the law into this. Besides what legal statute could possible govern who starts on a basketball team?It would be criminal if he doesn’t start.
I think it might pay to take English 101 … the class on metaphors?Or maybe it's because the coach thinks he's better off the bench. No need to drag the law into this. Besides what legal statute could possible govern who starts on a basketball team?
I don’t think Dunn’s situation should impact Keyonte tbh. Dunn did well for what he was asked to do last year, but I don’t see a long-term future for him with the team. He’s on a one year, non guaranteed contract and is one of the oldest players on the team. Better to just start KG3 and see what he can do at that point. Let the kid just take his lumps. I think he’ll also make some huge strides in the process.I don't disagree, but I suspect Dunn will probably get the starting nod with George getting meaningful minutes (I'm rioting if George does not play some time at the start of the season, barring injury). Because there is no other good nickname for him and it's a city in UtahNo, why would we?
yup. snyder deserves a lot of credit for sticking with him and avoiding a hit to his confidence by benching him or taking away the green light.Key should get significant minutes first game out and rest of season regardless how bad he may look first ten games
Donovan looked disappointing his first ten games and then played great from then on
