Sex is great but it is definitely overrated. I think you could spend your life with an awesome person even though the sex was sucked, but I couldn't spend my life with someone who sucked and the sex was great.

By you, by people around you? Or the appearance of it as a concept? After all, media, urban subcultures and stuff deeply has it as a subtext.
Are these turning-world-round concepts as important as the value we've put on them? Like money? Some of the things that couldn't survive without the meaning, the conceptual substance we attribute to them.

I agree with most of the posts here. Some of them like ECTYA and heyhey really brought the sensitive parts of your characters. I love it.
I asked this, because it really feels that way to me sometimes. Sure there are a lot of factors to make you feel that way or a lot of'em to make people believe whatever it is they believe, but I think it is a fact today that it is pumped really hard to the generations since I don't know, destruction of the Berlin Wall? I do not think it's useless by saying that it's overrated, it's a necessary pleasure in my life, well at least right now. I just think that, maybe it's the people around me but, people tend to turn around it their whole lives pretty ****in' extremely. This to me seems pointless and drowning in the mainstream.

Well, without the need to have sex, the human race would have probably been extinct a long long long looooooooooooooooooooong time ago... so yeah I think sex is pretty important...

I find it highly impossible. Above scenario is more likely for good friends but not for spouses. Sooner or later one of them will start cheating or if they highly moral they will get separated/divorced.
