Definitely not a top 10 player. He received even fewer votes than Hayward did in the All-NBA voting, and Hayward wasn't even close.
I definitely dont think he is a top 10 player but I also dont think that is a good indicator. They play different positions and are only being compared to players at their position.
He is a pretty elite player that was a leading scorer in the playoffs for a team that won a championship last year and has outplayed the best PG in the NBA Curry three years in a row in the finals.
Im on the fence whether I would want us to trade for him or not. I really like our current team but he could make us really good. I think he is a better player than Hayward and 2 years younger. I am concerned he would leave after 2 years and I am not sure how he will fit or if he will be better than the players we would have to give up. I also think one of Rubio, Exum or Mitchell might end up being a better PG for our team in the future as well. The only trade I would consider would have to be Hood and JJ for him or maybe Rubio and one other player. I guess a 1st round pick as well. But I doubt they go for that.
