My bet is this part is WAY more entertaining than the actual all-star game will be. It is boring as **** to see these guys trotting down court and trying to let each other score 70 points in a quarter. Won't be long and the games will be flirting with the 200 point mark, PER TEAM.

For sure, and rookies/sophomores already feel a lot more to prove than 14x All-stars like Harden for instance.

My favorite version is still USA vs World, but I understand that it's harder to balance year in and year out (obviously this year it wouldn't work for lack of international players, though Wagner/Giddy/Sengun is a nice start). It would've have been sweet to be able to invite Wemby over for the weekend.

For guys like Miller and Sidy, I think it does. People can see what they look like on the same floor as recent elite prospects. It didn't hurt Dyson Daniels last year when he looked like he belonged.
