Wasn't there some statistics around people ruining their shot by practicing/participating in the 3pt contest? I haven't heard this in awhile, so maybe it's been invalidated, but I remember there was a lot of talk at one point. I think the idea was that you have to change your motion and cadence to do the 3pt contest, which messes up your shooting motion in game.

I was downtown today. Lots being set up around Vivint. New hotels, including the Hyatt Regency and Le Meridien will be open and hopping with media and VIP types. It's cool when Salt Lake City gets put on the map. It doesn't happen all that often.

The all-star game has been like the LeBron James invitational ever since they changed the format. I haven't watched a minute of it since the first year.
I want a West vs East game. Until that comes back the ASG is not something I'm interested in.
I'm sure this will go over well with the people who are dense and outraged social media warriors.

BAD move from the organisers. I am not with forks and torches after him even he was doing what he did. He was a dumb horny kid committing a crime. Too many guys in their 20s I know are mentally not adults and does not get around the fact what's right and wrong. If he would have been apologetic about it at least more folks could forgive him. I am not holding grudges against one of my favorites from nineties but man - he do suck with everything how he handled it back then and organisers are dumb to announce him as one of the judges. I think they need to replace him with someone else ffs.
