While I had considered this to be your likely move, even before the Rg8, it presents so many possibilities I decided to look at it all again. . . . whether to advance my a pawn, or take your b pawn. . . .

So after ever so long playing out the possible developments from both choices, to advance my a pawn or take the Log's b pawn, it turned out that if I advance the a pawn, there is a way Log can win, whereas, if I take Log's b pawn, there is no way Log can win. . . . except of course, the standard way, of letting me snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. . . .
but then of course, since Log is the better player, and I'm in this only because Log has a day job, who knows, maybe there is something I didn't think of. . . .

Actually, after I made this move, I saw something else that really scared me. It looks like a wild ride is possible here. . . .but still I think maybe I can ride it out. Too many pawns to stop. . . .

Pretty much obligatory, and expected.
To add some running commentary I guess.
I considered taking the pawn back with my bishop but, not to give away too much strategy, I like the constraining effect of the bishop on that square. That combined with the pawn structure makes moving the major pieces (in this case king and rook) difficult.

taking my b4 pawn with your bishop was, I think, your best move. It would have been almost "counter-intuitive" to do so, though, I realize. When I looked at the downstream moves ensuing, it would have been a pretty wild ride, so your preference for having a "constraining" effect keeping the bishop where it is, is pretty true. It's a matter of style I suppose. I'm the more flamboyant sort and more inclined to do stuff that is "counter-intuitive", or reckless perhaps, but playing you and others in here has forced me to lay off that style pretty much. Too hard to recover from a bad move with you-all. . . . . .
The next question. . . . well, it's huge.

The question, as things appeared to me, was where to move my Rook, between c4 and f5. So far as I can see, it makes no difference, I'll win either way. No not a forced sequence to victory, yet, either way, and I can still snatch defeat, as the saying goes, either way, but I haven't seen a way you can win, yet, without me making a plainly manifest mistake. But that is just what makes this game so interesting to me. . . . others can see and do things I wouldn't have thought of in a month of Mondays. At least, if you find the way to do it, it's a fair indication that you are at this time a better Chess player, and I will hope you will continue to educate me. Too bad Siro is too good to do that gladly. . . .
