In a way that may be true about Gortat/Ibaka, but I'd still take Ibaka's defensive versatility and floor spacing over Gortat any day. True bigs are just kind of useless in today's NBA if they arent high tier players. I can certainly see Gortat being useful in this series due to how big OL's lineup is, but he is still aging rapidly and just got jettisoned from his team because of his diminishing value (along with his personality).Well Ibaka is more washed up than Gortat based on how he finished the season and his real age be 35 years + as well. If OL would have pre injury Matthews I would consider his bench better, but otherwise him and Galinari are just a shadows of what they used to be so that kind of balances out with what GH has in Melo. And Lou will win his matchup vs Murray any day. Warren and Portis are both irrelevant.

No, it's a yes. That's why I said yes. I provided the best one to find the information. I have others but I don't really feel like looking things up on my phone and posting them for you. If you want to know, look it up.So that’s a no?

Besides, I have no idea what you are wanting. Links that they were good at 17? Links about their rookie years in the NBA? Or simply what you asked for links for them. Maybe you mean their socal media accounts so you ask them directly?
No, I believe myself. So you don’t want to prove yourself?

Ricky Rubio. He did very well at that age against US players. He was older when he made his NBA debut but didn't help his team win. It took a few years for that.
Dirk outplayed Charles Barkley when he was 17 but then struggled as a rookie.
Tony Parker similar to above.
Darko Milicic was awesome for his national team at 17 and was a bust in the nba. He went toe to toe with current all star Pau Gasol.
The list could go on. Mostly I listed guys that had success later in the NBA but didn't help their teams win as a rookie, but there are also plenty of Darkos and worse.
Rubio didn't have a prolific career against grown men at that age?Ron, your list is great but none of these players had anywhere close to a consistent stats Doncic posted as teenager playing vs grown up men in Euroleague and Eurobasket... The only player who somewhat compares to 18 year old Doncic's stats in Eurobasket was Sabonis at 19. The game you talking about Darko vs Gasol was when he was 21. Gasol first time played for Spain national team when he was 21 as well. If we just look at stats produced by 18 year olds in international basketball Doncic is pretty much the greatest ever. Can he still bust? For sure. But he as well has a chance to be the best ever player to come out of Europe.
Do I play the winner of this matchup in the next round? I don't think I can handle losing to One Love twice in a month.

I’m down one vote.
I know. I'm rooting for you!
Thank you bro. If I lose because people don’t count Porzingis injury against OL and because Doncic isn’t proven yet then so be it. Just gonna look bad on a re-vote next year.

Regardless, I am not looking for who matched all of his stats, just players that did well at that age.
I'm sure there are others, plus there are college usa players and many others. What you did outside of the NBA does not guarantee success in the NBA.
But even more than that rookies just don't help you win. It's extremely rare, maybe 1 player or less a year on average.

Haha... is that why you voted for GH?
