Following 2016 potential draftees

So looks like the Rebs will lose out on all three top 10 picks out of LV which is disappointing. I thought Jeter had a chance but he is a bright kid with his eye on law school so the Duke selection makes some sense, though if I played against Duke in the championship like Jeters dad did there is no way in hell I endorse that. Reb fans still sour on Duke. Word is Big Z will likely end up at UCLA.

I really do hate that. Ive been calling Jeter to duke, z down to unlv/ucla/az... my prediction .. ucla.
 
The good news is that Elijah Thomas allegedly has us in his top 3 and Horace spencer and Dillon brooks, who are 4 star Findlay guys, have the Rebs at the top of their list.

Let me be honest... with Findlay Prep and the allure of Vegas, the rebs should have the ability to kick ***.. and they're not.

They are coming off a top 5 recruiting class so the performance this year will be the boom or bust for the school.They get into the sweet 16 and have a good showing then I think they start to blow up. Out in the 1st or 2nd round with this squad and I think the days of landing top recruits is over.

I think the city has always been a bit of a problem. I would not want to send my kid to LV or any other university in the midst of countless distractions. Also think that CDR has proven to be an amazing recruiter, but awful coach. I think he has surrounded himself with some good X's and O's guys so hoping this is the turn. Rebs have had pretty good success recruiting out of Findlay. We are struggling getting kids out of Gorman which is strange considering CDR's bro is the HC there.

I wouldnt call him an amazing recruiter, tbh. The rebs are one homerun hire away from becoming perpetually relevant. Not saying DR is a bad guy.. but no promised land, imo. Im saying many believe unlv has the **** to make a real program (again) and I agree.

I'd root for them. Love Tark, tbh.

Truth is, unlv does not have the cash to get a home run hire. Boosters are dried up with all the bad money out of the program. I just don't think UNLV will ever have 4-6 mill per year it would take to get one of the big names.

I pray for UNLV to be very good. I have zero teams I like outside of UK......
but I would pull for the rebs and drive an hour+ to go see some games if they got some **** together. Right now I am way more likely to go see FP... tbh.
