Following potential 2014 draftees

I think Perrin gave it away a bit. He was asked if Vonleh was a top-5 pick and he said, "we'll see." And his tone of voice wasn't the "teasing" type. Could definitely hear he wasn't that high on him. I figured if Vonleh slipped past Utah he might go to LA. But Randle makes more sense for them. Kobe would reduce Noah to tears.
LoL.. @ Kobe reducing Vonleh to tears..

Too true... Too true...

Since I don't think we have any shot at Jabari or Wiggins, my hope resides in Mr. Exum. What a stud. We'll move up to number 7 in order to snag him. Book it.

I finally learned how to use jazzfanz's various search functions. Here's the prediction I made about the jazz draft. It was on July 5th, 2013; page 82 of the 2014 draftees thread.

It was obviously before Trey was injured, and I thought the Jazz would be better than they were. Still I had us taking Exum.

Wurd.

Way to cherry pick a comment I made long before the draft when there was still a lot of question about Embiid's status. immediately prior to the draft it became clear he would go #3.

But lol. your obsession is cute.

Also, did the negative rep you gave me on my response to stoked help you feel better? I hope so.

I have HUNDREDS of similar posts pulled up on different tabs on my computer. I will be releasing them slowly throughout the Summer.

We're waiting with bated breath!

As for my predictions, I was off on both.
1. After Wiggins/Parker, I had Embiid sliding down several spots. I underestimated Philly and their new "red shirt" program.
2. And I had Utah taking Vonleh. Granted, that was before hearing the last Perrin interview. His tone of voice really gave it away that Vonleh wouldn't be the pick and I posted that observation.

Couldn't be happier with this draft. DL hit it out of the park with both picks and did the same with Gobert. Should have taken Giannis last year, but I understand the Trey pick. Most had him going higher and it looked like a great trade-up at the time.

Goodbye 2014 draft thread. You were like one of the creatures from River Monsters. You just kept growing and growing and growing. I just don't see the 2015 thread getting as big...unless injuries cause the Jazz to sink to 25 wins again.
