Following potential 2017 draftees...

Not to mention the points per game in that double-double was 19.2.

His per 40 numbers are absolutely insane:

28.8 PPG, 14.8 RPG, 2.4 BPG w/ 1 SPG.

He also shot 75% from the free-throw line. His per 40 FTA per game was 10 too. He gets to the line a lot for being a power forward and knocks down the free-throws.

High activity big... maybe he could be the red bull to Trey Lyles' Melatonin.

I still like Jonah Bolden. I think physically he's Larry Nance and he has a decent offensive arsenal with sweet jump shot.

We just need to darft the eff out of everyone.

His numbers are insane, but you have to try and project what he is in the NBA. To just assume he'll "figure his role out" would be irresponsible.
He probably won't work out for the Jazz being we're at 24. So they won't be able to run him through some Jazz specific sets to see how he reacts and handles it.
You have to pass the ball in the NBA, so his 0.5 assists are a red flag.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't at least carve out a Faried type of role in the NBA. His FT% is also promising for his prospects as a shooter. I don't think his whole game will be predicated on post ups and offensive rebounding, which are both looked down on in the modern nba.

DL will be pissed if he can't perform the balance beam test, but I'd be okay with taking him not having worked him out.

Gobert is very good at passing and only averages 1.2 assists per game. That's not a red flag at all.

Jazz have been linked to Edmond Sumner in a couple of recent Mocks. Apparently his injury might keep him sidelined for an entire season.

Xavier sophomore point guard Edmond Sumner could spend the 2017-18 NBA season “on ice” but expects to be a contributor to his new team going forward.
The 6-foot-5 Sumner underwent ACL surgery in March and most recently had shoulder surgery.
“I think Edmond will get drafted in the second round,” Xavier coach Chris Mack said Thursday on The 4 Quarters Podcast. “Where that is, I don’t know. I’ve heard anywhere from 35-50. And I think a team’s going to take a chance on Ed simply because he’s such an elite athlete. I think they look at it like they could sort of put him on ice for a year, not have him play, get him rehabbed and have him 100 percent for the 2018-19 season.”

I don't think I would use a second round pick on him. Maybe the 54th pick if all of the Euros are gone.
