Following Potential 2018 Draftees

How has KBD been in any workouts? Ours (I know he tightened up or something late)? Anyone else's?

Maybe I should hop back on the KBD train.

If he actually works out then he’s a perfect fit.

And ‘if he works out’ is a question for all these guys.

His lack of motor concerns me a lot... he reminded me of this guy coming out of florida state 3-4 years ago? Similar length, similar game, both SF ... both a bit stiff and not much motor, ... haven't seen him since he was drafted I think he's already out of the league.

Edit: Ah, it's Chris Singleton.

Nothing like Singleton and motor is not an issue with KBD.

The thing that scares me about Jerome Robinson is that I'm not sure he can create space in the NBA. He struggled to get space in college. He had a lot of his shot attempts blocked, deflected, stripped as he went to the rim. It's going to be even harder to get space in the NBA.

People are raising the same concerns about Jerome Robinson that were raised about Jamal Murray at Kentucky:
-- He's not an explosive athlete. What if he can't get by people? What if he can't get space?
-- Can he defend at all?
-- Can he really play on the ball at the next level?

Not to say that these aren't concerns, but every player has concerns. J. Robinson is going to be an 18 - 20-pt scorer. He can play on or off the ball, he can create his own looks, he projects to knock down 37% or so of his 3s. He's the most advanced offensive player in our range.

I think Robinson will do better with NBA spacing than he did in college. He was facing traps and double-teams constantly due to the fact that his team basically sucked. He had to make difficult plays constantly.

I also like how the Jazz's not talking about DD as well. It shows they are really aiming for him perhaps.

Of course, maybe its 3D chess. I mean Denver would be stupid not to draft the guy that the Jazz worked out and kept quiet about. right? The Jazz are anticipating that move. "I can clearly not drink the potion if front of me. . . ."
