Following Potential 2019 Draftees

I really like the crop of guards playing HS ball in Florida from this class, there's a stud or 2 out of that bunch I tellz ya.

Zion's competition looks like garbage in those videos. He's a wing and looks like the biggest kid on the floor.

He's in South Carolina which isn't exactly the best place to find elite competition. He'll transition fine tho. There's another extremely athletic F in this class whos similarly unstoppable at the HS level. Silvio de Souza's ranked top-10 by all services and might be more your cup of tea.

He can't quite handle like Zion tho, he's probably best off at the 4 and Zion the 3 (Unless Williamson keeps growing which isn't out of the question). Both have a degree of Juluis Randle to their games. De Souza's a righty tho.

Here's my 2019 mock. figure I'd post it before the new year. Far from perfect. It's congruent with the other mocks. Obviously way too many 1and-dones but thats how I'm rolling. 3 years in advance I can't help but list seemingly high upside young players.

IDK can't say for sure. If there's an article on it, it's likely not in english. I've known about him for probably like 2 years now and he's always looked young IMO. In this picture, to me, he looks like a younger teenager..

Ye but looks can always be deceiving. Especially as a white I don't even try to do that since my sample size/experience in making educated guesses on black guy's ages is not high enough to say anything of value. Kid looks terrific though. Probably a backhanded compliment to question the real age when you see him compete on the level he does.

Don't have anything conclusive but I'm rather confident he's that age and just on the extreme end of the early blooming spectrum.. (Even tho I'm aware many a fudged DOB has convienently been turned into a December birthday). I've been checking in on top prospects in that age group for many years now and he just passes my eye test.

After what just happened with Thon there's no doubt a team would turn a blind eye to it and then pretend it's nonsense given his talent level. I hate to even have the conversation though because to me it's somehow questioning the legitimacy of an obviously very legit young prospect.

BTW I think Isaac Bonga has a much older face. He's just one of those Greg Oden style oldfaced dudes tho.

The #5 pick Moses Brown in this mock is still a 4-star prospect by many services. Some have updated him into the top-10. He's cant miss. Check this out, would be a GREAT fit backing up Rudy (and possibly playing PF next to him)7 eventually!! Better prospect than John Henson (who looked like a lottery lock coming out of HS)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=208oFnlj3dY

Cole Anthony is Greg Anthony's son and just might be the #1 prospect in the next HS class. He's 6'2" and considerably more athletic than his pops.

I'm going on the record saying Zion will be a superstar and will go #1 in his draft. That vertical. That body. Those handles. He's going to be HOF. I'm on his train.

That's why I said it's kind of a backhanded compliment. He's just that good for his age(Started allegedly playing basketball at age 12 - so 3-4 years of experience now)and can already compete with guys that are 2-3 years older than he is. If he possessed only average talent(Maker) or was totally flying under the radar(Giannis), it wouldn't even have crossed my mind.

Rivals 50th ranked player in the HS class of 2018 is 6'3" Scoring PG Jamie Lewis, who's got a very sharp repertoire of scoring tools (Not to pile on but I'd say obviously better tools than Trey Burke..) He's also got great/advanced scoring instincts. I've brought him up here before. I believe he's one of the better guards to come from a very hot recruiting spot, Georgia, in years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjUUGDxRfRc

Really like his chances at making the league. He's got some Mo Williams to his game for sure. He's got all sorts of ankle-breaking crossovers he's shifty but also can throw it down and his floater is $$$$$... His outside shot is also $$$

Some have his position at SG but obviously thats nonsense and he's going to be playing PG moving forward..

247 has him ranked 38th

I know he's had one major injury/surgery pretty sure it was a knee but that was like 2015-ish.

6'7" Providence Fr. Alpha Diallo easily has the physical tools of an NBA wing defender, interesting player to watch needs a few years to seriously improve his skill level.

Putting this classes PG's in order is not going to be an easy task. They're all 6'1"-6'4" and some flash a great deal of potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgPH7S5wmKU

Jahvon Quinerly is a razor sharp 6'1" scoring PG with a crazy knack for scoring. He's like Allonzo Trier but a PG - It's no wonder Arizona's already offered.

Ideally he'd be bigger but he's got a shot at being a flamethrower off the bench for some pro team

Here's the top big on the west coast(Other than Bagley III) in this class, Jordan Brown. Video's a day old. Some see him as a prototype PF and top-10 lock
