Following Potential 2025 Draftees

On one hand, I think PHI is a terrible spot for PHI because they will want to win quickly and his mid range game does not mix well at all with Embiid or Morey. On the other hand, forcing him into that situation where he has to be a role player might be good for him. Kind of like Brown and Tatum in Boston.

As they prospects are right now, I think Kon fits the best.
?

6'8" Jordan Clarkson. When it runs hot its great. When it doesn't its bad. If he can change his shot profile, fill out, learn to pass, and stay engaged on defense you have something.

IDK... he's terrifying both ways.
a 6'9" jordan clarkson who plays defense. is a damn good player. and there is no issue with staying engaged on defense. he simply is a very good defender who cares on that end and has the length to impact games on that end.

The weird thing about the Coward hype is that if you look at his game logs, he really hasn't had many good games against major conference teams.
I haven't looked very hard, but noticed a lot of his highlights were against horrible competition. It doesn't really mean anything, just that I need to look closer

I do see a lot of people making big claims off the 6 games Coward played this season lol.
i think it's okay to be bullish on Coward based on what he did at Eastern Washington. jalen williams and podz come immediately to mind as very recent guys who were great at that level and it translated. unlike podz, Coward has the physical attributes to help him translate.

LeJuan Watts, Cowards teammate at WSU, might be the sneakiest transfer portal player in the draft next year. Transfered to Texas Tech.

Big 6'6 forward who averaged 4.4 assist

I'm not sure how much performance vs greater opponents matters. Makes sense logically, but could also be a result of a prospect's own teammates and it also opens up more variation by cutting up the already small sample size. I saw some twitter bois trying to "prove" that it's a big statistical indicator and I was not convinced at all.

If it's something drastic like Demin, you gotta put that on notice.

Yeah I edited my post to say that you should probably just sum up his last two seasons. I think he’s a good prospect based on the last two years total.

Its very on brand for the NBA guys to see the mystery box and want to open it more than the guys that got more time to expose themselves. I think there is some behind the scenes stuff with him that gives front offices promise. Seems genuine, humble and like a smart worker based on the limited reports about him I have heard.

You know GMs... both twitter and real love finding the overlooked guy. I doubt he makes it past 15... would be really happy to make the bet on him at 21 for sure.
