Alright Locke lovers, he finished up his analysis on the top 30 guys and flagged six as “green” (green meaning good) prospects.
Cooper Flagg
Dylan Harper
Tre Johnson
Jase Richardson
Nique Clifford
Walter Clayton Jr.
I thought he also liked Maluach as a pick-and-role finisher. I understand the value of looking for red flags and green flags in college prospects' stats, but they have limited value in projecting what a prospect will become in 3-5 years. You also have to put some of these numbers into context.
It wouldn't surprise me if the Jazz's Big Board has Flagg, Harper and Johnson as the top 3. The incremental reward of Bailey or Edgecombe hitting their ceilings may not justify the risk that their lower floors present.
