What's new

For those Jazz fans that LURK here but don't post

Just came across this board and joined a few days ago. I was a long-time active poster on the Jazzhoops forum which crashed a few weeks back and hasn't been revived. I felt so alone without anyone to discuss the Conley trade, draft, and pending free agency (my wife and kids can only tolerate so much). Anyway, looking forward to meeting more fans and finding a new outlet for my obsessive Jazz takes.

I rarely post anymore after I found most posters here are liberal and they are allowed to include politics in their post. Just lost my desire for the most part.
That was the nice thing about the Jazzhoops board. They kept out the trolls. There was plenty of good-natured ribbing, but everyone was generally respectful. The mods kept the discussion focused on basketball, and while there was the occasional unrelated tangent, political and religious discussion was limited.

Hey, CK!!! Good to see you, my friend. Watcher moved over here as well. Now that Jazzhoops is back up and running (as of yesterday), I will have to split time between the two fora (forums?). I really like the level of activity and varied largely well-informed opinions on this forum, so I have no intention of abandoning it even though I've been here for only a couple weeks.

While Jazzhoops is a private forum, I think just about anyone can apply -- particularly with the endorsement of an existing member.
