Game 5, 11/5/14: Cleveland Cavs at Utah Jazz, 7 pm

*whispering* Hey guys...bad news Zapper has a really bad feeling about Marcus Smart. Bad news Zapper thinks that Exum is going to have the Celtics game circled on his calender.
 
One thing this young team needs to do is learn how to win the tough games. They lost to the Clippers and beat the Cavs. Overall, they look ahead of where I thought they'd be. I really didn't expect a performance like this until closer to mid season. I'm LOVING Quin Snyder and Trevor Booker right now. Those two acquisitions were met with question marks when they happened, but both look Golden right about now. Can't wait to see what else this team has in store. They'll just keep getting better as they gain experience. I'm ecstatic to see Hayward and Favors leading this team.

We have to be fair to the 76ers - even though their management has been horrible with their pursuit of tanking, I've been watching their games and the players themselves are playing really hard and giving problems down the stretch to some good teams. Some of those players will be something someday. I really like KJ McDaniels... one of the best performing rookies so far.
 
I just checked out the boxscore: Lebron played 42 minutes and Kyrie 45. Wow! Gordon played the most from our team at 36:30. Great job from our bench and rookies hanging in there. There were times when we had 3 rookies on the floor at the same time...

Adam Silver has seen your post and has now launched a full-scale investigation. Expect the Millers to be pressured into selling the team. Ex-Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, is putting together a consortium of casino owners and mob leaders to buy the team and move it to Vegas.

Agree. They have a good batch of rookies with more coming next season (Embiid and a top pick). Philadelphia picked their rebuilding strategy and they're going with it. I don't see them intentionally losing games this season, but just like Utah last year (with no bench depth), they don't have a roster yet which will win very many games.
 
I love that a couple nights after Gobert gets posterized by DeAndre Jordan he makes a couple great blocks and puts himself out there. I really respect guys in the NBA who get posterized because they are trying to make plays and dont just get out of the way because they dont want to be in a highlight. Loved Goberts block on Tristian and Lebron. Anyone got gifs of these.

I think we need a gifs only thread like the General Discussion but Jazz highlights only, or maybe Gobert only blocks.

I have an idea for a huge poster at the end of Gobert's career for the Jazz. The poster will be DeAndre Jordan posterizing Rudy, but it will be constructed by using a collage of small pictures of all the blocks he's made throughout his career... That'd be epic! I'd hang this on my wall... and I am not even a big posters guy.

Lets not forget that this was his reaction to the DeAndre Jordan incident:
