What is Sunday like for you guys? Specifically 4-22?

Would probably lean towards starting at 3pm on a Sunday, but could also do 5pm.

We aren't going to know the playoff schedule until when, like 4-11.

I'd like as much feedback on dates and times as I can get. Obviously there is no day that is going to work perfectly for everyone, but the more I know about what will or won't work for people the better.

4-22 would work for me but being a Sunday it will be problematic for many I would assume.

Accepted. I also want to apologize. I should understand that poker has a specific, special place in American culture, and so dissecting poker in a thread not about the mechanics of games was ill-considered on my part. I see in another post you seem to want to continue the discussion (I'm not sure that was your intent, text can make these interpretations difficult), but before I respond, if you want to continue, should we do that in a different thread? I don't want to pollute your poker game thread.

As of right now, I’m free on the Saturdays before and after as well. However, my son is about to start his comp baseball season, which is double-headers on Saturdays. We don’t have a schedule yet, but it starts on the 14th.
I’m fine with Sunday play.

I wish. Being married with children sort of precludes this sort of thing. Maybe in 10 years you can do a Pinochle tournament and my wife and I can come clean you guys out. But, for the younger single crowd this looks like a can't miss event to me.

What does being married with kids have to do with it? Most people there are married and have kids, including Bulletproof.

Actual chips arrived at the group buy organizer's house yesterday. Mine shipped today.

Total group buy quantity was 33,200 chips with 82 different people in total ordering, but many of those only ordered a sample. I'm not sure how many ordered a playable set.

And the poker cloths have shipped, but says expected delivery is the 13th.

How would April 21st work for people? I'm thinking a start time around 5pm, could easily move it up or down a few hours. The 14th would be pushing it as far as my ability to prepare, but could be possible. The 28th would probably work for me, but I'm not taking anything for granted as far as how long the Jazz will be in the playoffs. I mean I'm sure it'll be until June, but I'm not taking anything for granted.

The 14th is out for me. I will not even get all the materials to reupholster my main table until the 13th. I originally expected to get them this weekend.

The 21st or 22nd is a possibility but I'm sort of eyeing the 28th (or 29th) at this point. Please let me know if you are someone who is interested in attending and those days either really work for you or really don't work for you.
