What's new

i'm quite disgusted with the NBA refs tonight turning a blind eye to westbrook's actions.

The Adams foul... the third foul on RW was clearly on Abrines and then just the inconsistent techs...
I watched the replay a few times. Depends on what the ref called. To me, it looks like Westbrook got him with his lower body as he was going for the block.

I may hate OKC the most of any team now. What a bunch of entitled whiners. And their fans are the same.

Different commissioner at the time... stern was a drop the hammer guy... silver is whatever is good for business type of guy.

Consistency is good for business. And OKC is not CLE/GSW/HOU so there is no reason to give them the kind of treatment that sullies the NBA's reputation.

I have not seen the video but rules are rules.

Except players protect their stars. I wouldn't be surprised if someone came at Mitchell that our players would grab their player.

Carmelo should come in and separate or get in between but grabbing isn’t going to be taken as a sign of making the peace... Melo was trying to make peace but guys don’t love their own guys grabbing them... if the other team does it I just don’t see it being taken well unless they are bros... which they might be.

Let's hope the refs got some makeup calls in them. I honestly have never had much of a problem with that (except the fundamental one of missing calls that need to be made up in the first place).

I work in a sportsbook in Vegas and it just came across that Westbrook may get suspended for game 5. We took the line down for the time being. So theres definitely a possibility of it happening
I hope they do. Not because I’m worried about Westbrook, but because I’d like to see the NBA send a message that Stars aren’t above the rules. Act like a jackass and you get the same consequences - might keep other teams (Houston, GSW, Philly) from behaving the same if they know they might lose CP3, Harden, KD, Green, Simmons or Embiid for a pivotal game. Thunder are done. I could see this being Silver sending a message to tone it down.

I am fairly sure they will find a way to play this off... either their wasn’t a confrontation or one of the officials had signaled him in or some BS.

I hope he plays... every shot he shoots is one less PG shot... every time he misses Joe Ingles in the corner is another three that falls. When he is in there is no ball movement... we should petition the league to let him play and make damn sure he finds out about it... so he makes it personal.

Who else wasn’t supposed to be in there besides Westbrook? Was it Adams? I know I counted seven OKC players on the floor at the end of the clip.

I don't think that's it. I think there were a few really ugly brawls that were making the NBA look like a league for thugs and the NBA needed to change that image if they wanted families tuning in to watch games, let alone taking their kids to a game.

Ingles goes over to him to get the ball. George slaps his arm away. The ref calls a technical on Ingles. It should have been a delay of game on Paul George.

Not sure if you could see this on TV or not, but Ingles had been dogging PG for several possessions, and during dead balls, before the technical. Yes, PG should've yielded the ball, should've perhaps been a delay of game warning. But Ingles earned that particular T, I think, and then used it to rile up the crowd.

But yeah, some questionable officiating. Even Tony Jones, who rarely comments on officiating, said something terrible was going on.

No need to worry as OKC will be eliminated and sent to the lottery for years to come on Wednesday. Can't wait to order my Paul George Lakers City edition uniform!

The play that led to Crowder's ejection should've been a flagrant on Russ... Not a basketball play thats a hockey check, obviously fustration on his part because the Jazz use those types of fouls to prevent transition buckets..

Only reason it wasn’t was because Crowder is built like a Mack truck and he won’t be moved... if that was Rubio he hits the deck and it’s flagarant.

I really want Westbrook to play... he is completely unaware and is on the verge of implosion.

The league is looking into Westbrook leaving the bench. I doubt they do anything. It’ll be more satisfying to beat them with WB.
