What's new

Inception **^^**

I'm sincerely worried about that. I worry my grump-factor will prevent me from enjoying it. So I saw something else instead.

Ya I kind of think you'll say its like "The Prestige 2". Pulling out some cliche line like "this is the oldest trick in the director's book" which doesn't keep intelligent persons at bay, but keeps the masses pleased.

But you could also really enjoy it.

Can you get those in the casino? Maybe you can just get me some menthol cigarettes and I'll just suck the filters.

I dont understand, you're trying to make fun of me because I recieve money from a tribe?.....ouch low blow....extra income sucks. Way to kick me while Im down.......

There's an editing/continuity flaw that bothered me in the movie. He had the exact same type of mistake in TDK and I can't fathom how it went unnoticed.

PM me too. I just saw it. Extremely entertaining, and the editing throughout the movie was flawless (pending KrazeeEyezkilla's response). As far as live-action movies go, this summer, nothing can touch it. Definitely worth the 6.50 and then some repeated viewings.

a) you live somewhere that movies only cost $6.50?

b) given this thread, I think you decided you liked it before you saw it (the opposite of my problem if you will)

c) this summer's movies have frankly sucked. No competition.

Who's making fun? I wish I was just living on the fat of the land (as it were) like you guys. It must be nice taking advantage of a system like that.

a.) Orem
b.) Yes, but not totally out of control, I was excited for it. I was excited for "The Last Airbender" too. hahaha.
c.) I know right? I was like "finally! a movie worth watching."

It was good though, you should go see it. I know you're a bigtime movie buff, and have your particular preferences but it's worth a watch, I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it: good and bad.

I'm trying to give myself a week or two to let the buzz die down a bit and to let the perpetually crowded Northern California theaters clear out. I'll probably see it in a couple weeks when I'm less grumpy.

Being you is such a bitch...

Just saw it this afternoon. I was impressed. The only criticism I have is that while it definitely had a very original concept, the overarching plot of it was actually pretty formulaic. Main Character has unresolved issues --> MC undertakes crazy, difficult task --> MC faces his demons. Oh yeah, and lots of gunfights along the way.

Don't get me wrong, I really liked it. I consider this is to be a nitpicky criticism. But I didn't feel like Nolan actually took that many risks. I'm still recommending it to all my friends.

I just saw it. I really liked it. Lots of tie ins to the Matrix which made it kind of funny. And not just the whole gravity-less fight scene.

I have no idea what this movie is even about...does that mean I am disconnected from American society?

What am I taking advantage of? Please do explain.

Nothing man. Free money is where it's at. It's not like taking food stamps or disability when you're 100% able to work, or anything.

I'm sure you guys are totally earning it. I mean, hell, I bet it's hard to forgive/forget what happened to your ancestors, like, hundreds of years ago. Ya, you remember, ol' what's his name grandpa Whistling Fist, he totally got pwn'd by Columbus and his assassins -- Why shouldn't you get paid for that grave injustice?!
