Ines Sainz Controversy & female reporters in men's locker room

Question for kicky or Own_Brown, intellectuals of the universe.

Is it OK if I answer it too, even though you didn't meantion me?

Have you ever gone out of your way while at work, public, or school, to get a better look at someone you thought was hot?

Not in a way that would attract attention to myself.

Do you not see the humor in throwing footballs to get a better look at the hotties in the Corona commercial?

I see humor in a lot of onscreen actions that would be inappropriate in real life.

How would you feel if a guy dressed up like a KKK-Nazi and went to BET awards and interviewed African Americans and was beat up/harrassed? Would it be wrong to assume the KKK guy had it coming?

No. The proper reaction to unwelcome speech is a second speech showing why the first was inappropriate, not violence nor harrassment.

Also, does your bride know you think wearing skimpy clothing to a football game is as hostile as wearing KKK gear to a BET awards show? You may have some marital issues to work through, there.

Wait, what? Why do you have to bring my marriage or my wife into this? Is that how the smartest people on the board work? I mean, you and Kicky continue to hassle or correct me as if we have problems. Are you qualified to offer those opinions?

My point here is simple, yet YOU'RE denying it or making it harder than what it has to be. I'm saying with my example (yeah, I know it was extreme, but I wanted to make my point clear.) that sometimes people do things that brings unwanted things upon them and they have no one to blame but themselves. Is that that hard to get? IMO the reporter brought in on herself. It doesn't excuse the actions of the football players, but it doesn't excuse her for being and naive self proclaiming "hottest reporter in Mexico" idiot. She wasn't very cognitive complex, if you will.

Archie, stop using that phrase. You're Archiing it. Just because some professor taught it on Monday doesn't mean you need to use it every chance you get.

I think the players should have access to the reporters locker rooms and we should get topless interviews with side line hotties.

Hmmm . . . access to Ines Sainz and Erin Andrews in their locker room. . . I can see the uplifting benefits to that, but I think a guy in Oklahoma City already tried that with Erin and got in a lot of trouble.

That's because he was a fat, frumpy red neck. Now if he was lean, chiseled, dark and handsome we may have never heard about it. Isn't that the thoery?

THIS. Marcus already posted a very handy instructional video in an earlier post.

My point was that your analogy was extremely poor, and I tried to say it with humor. My apologies if I offended you. I have no opinion as to the nature of your marriage.

Sirkickyass (from what I can tell) and I have understood that to be your point all along. We are saying that line of thinking is ill-considered.

That's because you live in a fantasy world. You act/dress/behave/talk in a certain way and conclusions/thoughts/ideas about who you are will be drawn. It is simply the way things are. You don't want to be considered a certain way? Don't act/dress/talk/behave that way. If you do act/dress/talk/behave that way people are going to draw conclusions. It's so simple. You don't like it? Too bad. Get over it. You don't care? More power to you. Have fun.

sometimes, women are their own worst enemy

(not making a specific comment related to this particular situation, because I really don't know anything about the reporter in question here, just making a general statement)

Actually, I live in a world where moronic people can't tell the difference between thoughts/conclusions/ideas and acting rudely based upon those thoughts/conclusions/ideas. Not once have I said anyone needs to change how they think (to the level that thinking describes the process going on in their brain at all). However, I understand that some people with appallingly bad self-control will be unable to prevent themselves from acting on any random though that crosses their mind. Given that, I also think it's appropriate to remind people that this type of behavior is not civilized and is a destructive force.

Thanks you for your analysis of my mindset. It contained all the intelligence, insight, comprehension, logic, and rationality I have come to expect from your posts.

She's pretty hot, and it doesn't surprise me that the Jets team is full of douchebags.

Edit: Wow, props to anyone that actually has the patience to read that post above me. Go smoke some Spice, Kicky.
Sure glad he's not charging Jazzfanz by the hour. That would have cost Jason a cool grand right there.

I did not say you had.

I couldn't agree more.

You're certainly welcome. Come back for more at any time.
