I can be very naive at times, but even I can see that this has to be over the top trolling. I don't believe anyone can seriously claim this is the state of the world today. Claiming the Democrats were going to war with North Korea may stem from this absurd statement from Trump's address announcing his state of emergency:
"I don't want to speak for him(Obama), but I believe he would've gone to war with North Korea. I think he was ready to go to war. In fact he told me he was so close to starting a big war with North Korea," Trump said.
Who on Earth would believe that Trump was being truthful in that claim?! Trump simply invents his own reality on the spur of the moment, here talking for Obama after saying he didn't want to talk for Obama. One of his more absurd claims in that looney tune of an address. When there's no teleprompter, listeners can expect a trip through Fantasyland.
The Trump presidency is the government episode of The Apprentice. It's like a Philip K. Dick novel, alternate history of all the wrong kind. Celebrity culture and political culture meeting at a junction in American history. But the celebrity is the nadir, and the junction is a low point of both cultures. When presidents are marketed, some get what they fall for. The rest of us got a lemon.

Yeah, I think we should expect a little better of our president than to be taking dictators at their word, especially with regard to their treatment of American citizens imprisoned on trumped up charges.
