3/5 from deep, but he just had a back to back ABSOLUTE disastrous brain fart on defense.

yeah if the bulls want a first for him they can shove it. After 12mins of watching him he looks like JONAS JEREBKO.

    22mins for niko....

wonder why the bulls don't play him starter minutes if he's "worth a 1st"

Hopefully they win tonight. They need to expedite the urgency of the tank.

Bulls win. That’s good for Chicago needing to get rid of him, but not good for Detroit getting beat while seeing him and perhaps thinking they need to upgrade soon.

I mean, he is a lot more talented, but there are definitely similarities.

Becuase they have a rookie named Lauri Markkanen (who has been amazing lately) who plays the same position they are trying to develop.

    https://www.inquisitr.com/4736969/n...ck-favors-to-cavs-in-rumored-three-way-trade/

This makes perfect sense to me. This saves the Cavs about $80,000,000 or something like that after the $3.75 - $4.50 repeater tax. It makes the Cavs relevant in the free market next year to keep Lebron. If the Bulls like Tristan Thompson alongside Lauri Markanen then this makes really good sense.

I would also like to do Hood for Fry and the Cavs top pick next year. Those two moves would save the Cavs big dollars because they would cut $5 million on the Hood deal and $4 million on the Thompson deal. $9 million dollars x $4 = $36 million dollars of relief ALL WHILE MAKING THEIR TEAM BETTER. It would also leave the cavs at $105,000,000 next year after Lebron resigning.

Giving up Thompson, Channing Fry, and a Top 5 draft pick and getting back Hood and Favors and $36 million dollars in relief and the flexibility to compete next season in the free market where now they HAVE to make trades... I would say it's compelling.

Again, does Chicago want Thompson? Well... Chicago gets their mobile rim protector for the next 3 years on a decent contract. They give up a player that they don't want. Can they get more than that out of the draft? Probably not. They can spend more money on the spot because their back court looks really good and will be cheap for 3 years.

Honestly, I think that makes a lot of sense for everybody. If James bolts, Cavs have saved themselves paying the luxury tax the next season and get a much better overall player than Thompson. Bulls get their first, and a decent modern-5, even if overpaid. Jazz come out pretty damn good.

Unfortunately, James got Thompson that ridiculous deal, and I think they might be a package deal for some reason that I don't really understand (they have the same agent, but beyond that?).

Yeah, I don't see the Bulls taking on TT's terrible contract just for a late first rounder from Cleveland.

Utah and Cleveland would do it though.

I'm not sure why TT is viewed as an asset by some... I also don't know if they would move him... isn't he one of Lebron's guys? He is with his agency right?

Chicago would say no... not really that close either.
