The Legend of Bricky Ricky

You better watch out
You better not pout
You better not cry
I’m telling you why
Bricky Ricky’s coming to town

He sees you when he’s dribbling
He thinks you’re wide open
He throws a pass that you can’t catch
It’s not your fault
For goodness sake

Oh, you better watch out
You better not pout
He just wants to shoot
Every shot he can take
Bricky Ricky’s coming to town

He sees you when he’s rolling
He tries to force it in
But too many people
Are guarding you
So what can you do
For goodness sake

Oh, you better just wait
Until next season
When Bricky Ricky
Has gone away
Then we can start
Winning again!

Not going anywhere for a while? ... Grab a Snickers

I'm imaging how clever Eenie thought he was when he wrote this.
I wasn't trying to be clever, just having fun ... I know it doesn't always match, not like Jingle Joe ... but laughter is the best medicine for the angst I feel with the disaster Ricky has been, though he helped us win tonight. I didn't coin Bricky Ricky either, though I like the name.

I may have been the first to start calling him Bricky. I'm generally the first to turn on people.
I applaud your effort to create some humor. My life has been one sad joke after another, so I can relate.

"Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all..."

You know I actually feel kind of bad about my feelings toward Ricky. He seems like a good guy. But I was expecting so much more from him and he has been such a disappointment, it just pushed a button in me.
