Trade idea for Horford

I actually think Jeff Green and Ingles would be better, yes. Green and Ingles are both players that need to find their rhythm, and I'm not sure how they're supposed to when the ball is sticking in the hands of a guy that has one shot and he looks for it every possession.

Nobody makes Niang better. Ed Davis needs all the help he can get to offensively contribute.
And the answer is Raul Neto? A guy that averages 4 points a game and 1.8 assist in his entire career?

I don't buy it. I think you guys are giving Neto way too much credit because he was a fan favorite. Hell I loved the guy myself when he wasn't injured and sure he had his moments but you guys are acting like he would be some amazing bench guy that would somehow bring this terrible bench(outside of Mudiay) together.

Neto was so much better for us than Mudiay has been (health aside which was definitely always an issue for Raul)

If you’re saying otherwise, have you watched the Jazz before?
What did Neto do that was so special? He didn't even play half of the games. And when he did, he played basically garbage minutes. Honest question.

He was #1 on the jazz in net rating 2 years in a row.

Yet didn't even play one valuable minute in the playoffs.
Wow you moved the goal posts really quick there.

Our bench plus minus numbers are absolutely pathetic, and clearly the biggest issue with this team. I’m definitely of the opinion that a smart player who would rather pass than make his own shot, who also understands the offense, and always had excellent on/off numbers would be WAY better for us than Mudiay. We can’t know for sure of course, but the +/- and eye test of each player back it up.

We have no idea what our playoff issues will be, or if Mudiay will be an asset for us in those games. So it’s dumb to even bring it up.

My point was that Neto didn't play when rosters got smaller because he wasn't an intrical part of this team. That wasn't moving the goal post. He was a third string PG that had multiple DNP's because he wasn't a necessity. You guys are literally trying to make him something he was not. He would still be a third string PG on this team. He would.

Would he have his moments? Sure. Would he move the needle even slightly? No.

Lol, I loved Neto but what the heck does he bring that Mudiay doesn't? You guys really think Raul Neto is going to be the difference with Ingles, Jeff Green, Niang, and Ed Davis? I really think you guys just need someone to pick on.
You guys?! What do you mean "you guys"?

I told all of you the Conley idea was a bad idea. I received loads of cheap shots like I'm receiving now for it.

You don't trade for over the hill. And you don't supermax soon to be over the hill either. Horford, Chris Paul, Love are all Conley part 2, 3, or 4.

If I'm a GM of any team, I would run away as fast as I could from a player of Conley's diminutive stature, advanced age, and astronomical contract.

I love this forum. We let people go and/or trade them and all of a sudden we want them all back. How many Favors, Neto, Rubio, Crowder threads can we get this year?
