The image button in the reply box forces a url, and as you can see above on one of my posts, didn't work for me.
I am on desktop if that matters.

Glad I'm not the only one.
Tried to change avatar in these:
Windows 10 + Firefox/Chrome
Arch Linux + Firefox
Both didn't seem to work. I didn't use the Gravatar option.
