Hey hey Hey, does anyone here play Rocket League? My son and I team up occasionally but I'm looking for other teammates!

I have played it before but I'm probably not anymore near as good as you guys are.

In my 5 years on FM17, I have resigned once and got fired twice and I still can't stop.

playing FM15 not going to mention how many hours i've logged... i could have i dunno done something with my life, learnt an instrument, composed a symphony, got into shape (that's pretty unlikely) instead, St Pauli are European Champions...

I don't care if you're bad. I'll totally play with whoever. As it stands, It's just me and my boy.

My kids got me into clash royale. I reached 3800 trophies before they told me that was actually really good I guess. It just seemed to be an intuitive game for me, figuring out the combos that work and countering, cycling through decks, etc. It became a minor obsession for a while. I still like to play it but mostly for the new 2v2 mode as casual play.

Wife came home a couple weeks ago with a PS4 and a half dozen games. Just finish The Last Of Us after beating Event Horizon. Both games are fantastic. WOrking on XCom 2 now. Then either the Batman Arkham series or the 2 Call of Duty games.

Anyone pickup Assasins Creed Origins? Looks pretty good from the reviews, but I'm not much of a AC fan. I may get it when I'm done with Elex. I bought my son Mario Odyssey an he's playec about an hour of it, but loves it. It's been given a 10/10 by multiple reviewers.

Howdy, all. It's been quite a while since I've posted (I just checked, my last post was more than a year and a half ago). But I wanted to come on here and promote one upcoming game that really deserves some promotion.

That game is Monster Hunter World. It's coming to PS4 and XB1 on January 26th (and for the PC somewhat later), and a PS4-exclusive "Beta"/Demo will be available starting Saturday, December 9th.

I could say a lot about the game and about the series, but I'll keep it short. What you should know is that with the exception of From Software's "Soulsborne" games, Monster Hunter is my favorite series of games of the past ten years, and I've sunk between 200-500 hours of time into each of the five entries that I've owned. The linkage with Dark Souls isn't pure coincidence, either. Fans of one tend to become fans of the other when they decide to take the plunge:

While the two series are hardly exactly alike, they both feature incredibly deep, deliberately paced combat. The Soulsborne games are primarily single-player games with a big open world to explore; Monster Hunter is a cooperative series of games (up to four players) that might as well be called Boss Fight: The Game, shunning the traditional idea of giving you hordes of minions to work through prior to a boss fight in favor of just giving you awesome boss monsters to fight over and over as the core of the game. It's brilliant.

The problem for Monster Hunter games in the USA has been that they've primarily been developed for handheld systems like the 3DS, which are wildly popular in Japan, but not so much here (in 2013, Monster Hunter 4 was the 2nd-best selling game in Japan behind Pokemon X/Y; in 2015, Monster Hunter X was the best-selling game in Japan, period). With Monster Hunter World, Capcom is changing all that. They're developing it for home consoles that Americans actually own, and making a serious effort to break into the American market. I can only hope they succeed; it's the best series of games that no one in the US seems to know about.

The good news is that the Beta/Demo for PS4 running from December 9th to December 13th is free for everyone. If you happen to own a PS4, I strongly recommend penciling in those dates and giving it a shot no matter what your gaming tastes happen to be, but especially if you're a fan of Dark Souls. The worst that can happen is that it won't be your cup of tea, while the best case is that it might just become your new favorite game. I'll leave some videos below for you to check out; if desired, there is plenty of other coverage out there for you to Google, as Capcom has been promoting the hell out of this one and doing lots of preview events for press and streamers.

The best advice I can give for a newcomer trying the demo is test every one of the 14 available weapons; they are so different that each one almost feels like you're playing an entirely different game. That's where a lot of the depth comes from. Anyway, hopefully you'll enjoy the game. In my case, this thing is practically a mortal lock for my 2018 game of the year, and probably for my top ten games of all time. Monster Hunter really is that good. If you're a gamer who's never tried the series before, don't miss giving it shot.

the x com games are great

Yeah, I felt like XCom 2 fixed a lot of the things I didn't like about the first one. And mostly my problems were comparing them to the 90s classic XCOM games, which were unreal in how ahead of their time they were.

Xenonauts, modern remake of the old game, check it out its alright.

Been playing Torchligh 1 and 2. First one was kind of tedious but the second one is a lot of fun for a simple hack and slash game.
