Bring him in as our number 2. This year is all about getting the youth some chemistry, and trial and error.
If Neto is part of our future why wouldn't he be included in next year?
Burke/Neto/Tinsley I'll pay to see it.
1280 Radio boys were saying that Locke reported after the draft that there were some scouts who thought that Neto was a better prospect than Trey.
I hadn't heard that. Hopefully none of you heard it either because that would really fuel the fire of a pg contreversy.

"By the way, Jazz fans, allow me to blow your mind: get ready to like Neto more than Burke. Go ahead and favorite this" - @AminESPN 6/28/13
The earlier you bring him over, the earlier he's a free agent. If he's going to get good coaching and decent playing time playing elsewhere, there's really no need to burn years leading up to restricted free agency (I'm assuming the Jazz will be smart and sign him to a deal that reaches at least 3 years with team options). Signing/trading for a vet 2nd/3rd PG with an expiring deal seems like the smarter move to me. I'd also like the Jazz to bring in another 4 (again, preferably a vet on a one year deal), as I think a reserve big rotation of Gobert/Evans/Marvin is going to be pretty ****ing ugly, especially with Favors' high foul rate. Why not just bring him over? We're tanking this year anyway. Start Burke, have Nedo as the backup... and if it turns out that we have that backwards well, we'll know by the end of the season.

Like it or not: Raul Neto will be better than Burke. You will see...
This is a good point. And if Nedo's in a good situation overseas, then it might be best to let him sit for a season or so.
Also, don't forget about Biedrins!!
He is ready as a backup and will give you very solid 15-20 minutes per game. He definiely has the potential to take away the starting spot from Burke.
No. Let him get better over seas for some time as insurance I case Burke busts, then bring him in. From what I understand he plays in one of the top leagues. This should help him improve.
We don't have a backup PG and we've already gone "All In" on the tank by having Biedrins and Jefferson as key subs. Have them play 2 quarters each, with the best man eventually getting more playing time (I think that will be Burke, but you never know). We're not locked into a certain salary with a 2nd rounder, right? IINM, Jazz gave CJ the equivalent of a 1st because they had promised him (and then traded the pick to move up). Give Neto the normal salary for his draft position, throw in a $1M bonus on top of that + his salary + the $500K we can contribute to his buyout. If I were Lindsey, I'd sign him to a guaranteed 3 yr deal. I think we've seen enough already to know he can be a very good backup.No. Let him get better over seas for some time as insurance I case Burke busts, then bring him in. 20 minutes in a summer league game is "enough"?I think we've seen enough already to know he can be a very good backup.
