The Suns have a ton of young players. I think they understand and aren't afraid of the rebuild. This gets some contracts off the books and some more young depth. Knight has been a disappointment, and Chandler is great for a team trying to win now. I could see Phoenix trying to squeeze out a 1st...
I think something like this works for all teams involved. https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zagbc99
With Brooklyn's unprotected 1st going to the Jazz
Just because a rebuild fails or has to be retooled doesn't necessarily mean FO people are at fault. Injuries has been big for the Jazz and as Hayward stated contracts are shorter so the windows are much shorter for management. A lot of decisions and money already invested in Hayward, Favors, and...
The same issue Parker faces with the Bucks he'll face with the Jazz. He isn't going to be the primary scoring option on either team, and where in the starting line up does he fit?
Where do some of you get your info? Burke short armed? He has a 6'5.5 wing span at slightly under 6' bare foot. That's a longer ratio than Hood, Hayward, Burks, Lyles, Neto and Exum. Burke is only behind Favors (slightly) and Gobert.
Not a huge deal but I noticed a statically error. They credit Burke for a missed 3 right before half, but it was a shot taken by Hood. I wonder how often these type of errors are made and if/when are they corrected.
I wouldn't go as far to say Jackson is playing like a top 30 player. However the love for Exum here is completely unfounded. I don't know if I've seen a player that has done so little get some much love.
Not sure Exum is better than Neto atleast not comparing last season Exum to this year Neto. Exum is the better defender but he was a complete non factor on offense. Neto isn't nearly as aggressive as you would hope for a starting PG, but he's significantly more aggressive than Exum and is a...
No way Jackson has the year he's having with this team. Fans often times just look at stats without factoring in role. Jackson dominates the ball with the Pistons in a way he wouldn't be allowed to with the Jazz.
I don't think the train of thought is "you must trade him" as much as "what can be had if he were to be traded". That's IMO a legit question the front office should be asking. A team like Boston with a ton of future assets may be ok trading quality picks for a chance to add Hayward to the team.
